Preston was a great tech. Friendly and helpful and got the repairs done quickly so that I could get back to work!
As always the service was prompt and the service rep. was really respectable and polite.
Very grateful that Chris came to fix my garage door on a Saturday night @ 9:45pm during Covid-19.
Everything went smoothly! Bryan was very good at explaining things & showing me how to trouble shoot if my springs get weak
Great service from start to finish. Replaced broken springs quickly and professionally.
Robert was very knowledgeable and gave me a good idea on how to repair the door
Leo did a great job on our garage door today, super friendly and got right to work, it works so much better!
Avi was friendly and knowledgeable and I was disappointed that we need a new unit, but he recommended a quality unit and we will decide later.
Arrival of 1pm today the return visit. The gate arm and the spindle arm broke at the pivot rivet. Got a smooth shank bolt that is close but not an exact fit. Welded the nut on so it cannot back off under operation. It has some slop to it but that is because this is a normally very tight joint as it has a zerk fitting. Will contact manufacrurer and get cost and eta for replacement arms for this gate. This is a temp fix as they want gate working asap. Highly recommend getting the manufacturers armature pieces as they fit precisely.
Robert going back out to complete job tomorrow 9/2
New remote programmed no strut on top section.
Lube and tune service, jackshaft opener. Everything looks great.
I supplied and installed 1 8x7 clopay door and 1 Liftmaster 8550WLB GDO.
He called and told customer he was on the way and got there and noone is there. Left card. BG
Pics on file. Customer stated another company came out before us and she is having us out as another option. The confident for power is not coming thru the pad it is next to it and the gate came off track and ran over conduit. There is no power on lines and burn marks. Need electrician to rmrestore power and we can then determine what parts have been effected by the voltage spike.
Lube and tune service, door and motor are in great shape.
Otto and I replaced 6 window frames on 2 doors and 3 sets of deco hardware.
Arrival time of 1130am. Replace gearbox on a dks barrier arm. Adjusted the limits so they stop at level and 90°. Ran it about 40 times no more issue as it used to do it every other time. Got adjustments to have opening position stop at the 6 o'clock position and no extra travel. The extra travel could be result of gate having no counter balance or motor mount and bushings wearing down. Its no traveling extra anymore now that the play in the gearbox are gone. Departure at 240pm.
Reanchored front mount for operator. This was due to door weight from springs. Replaced springs and broken hinges. Added 2 remotes and reprogram the keypad. All working well now.
Toro arms moving around correct speed. About 22sec for full open. Motor speed cannot be adjusted on motors per UL325. Allomatic states the 27vdc coming off board under load is normal range. If issue happens again when running slow we can diagnose voltage drop as that is the cause for slow motor. Its either the board, the wiring, or the actuators themselves. Leaning toward board issue as they both ran very slow at same time. That would mean both actuators or both wiring would have to bad simultaneously. It is more likely the out going power of the board dropped below the 27vdc. No charge today per tech
