Arrived to property in Laguna Woods and customer stated that her remotes stopped working on 96' manufactured Liftmaster operator. Reprogrammed remotes, tested and working optimally. If remotes loose programming again, recommend installing external receiver. Also found during inspection bottom weather seal needs to be replaced in order to seal properly while closed. Emailed estimates for new weather seal and external receiver. Lubricated and tightened all necessary hardware, added missing tech screws to garage door, tested all safety systems and door/operator running optimally at this time minus estimated parts needed to be replaced. Next recommended tune up service December 2020.
Arrived to property in Laguna Woods for free estimate. Customer stated that she hit her door with vehicle and door would make popping sound while closing. Found damage on all sections with bottom/first intermediate sections buckling during operation, #1 hinge bent and structural integrity is comprised, top section has bow due to no reinforcement strut in place, door in need of lubrication and tune up, and photo eyes misaligned. At no charge I adjusted photo eyes and tested new hinge to confirm diagnosis. Customer would like to wait till after holidays to do recommended work. Explained to customer that door is not the safest to run in current condition and recommend to use as little as possible in mean time. Emailed estimate.
