Service existing garage door only. Existing garage door opener works, but it doesn't comply with state regulations. It doesn't have safety eye sensors and battery backup. I didn't touch gdo. I created an estimate for a new GDO, but customer isn't ready to buy it yet.

Warranty/Recall-Arrived to property in Valley Center and customer purchased new operator, installed and was having issues programming remotes. Call within 30 days of initial visit so no charge to customer. Reset operator limits so door to only open within 6" of header due to fatigued springs and cables having slack. Still recommend either replacing springs and rollers or replacing door and reemailed estimate to customer.
Arrived to property in Valley Center and found cable loose from drum and wrapped around torsion tube. Reset cable and tested door. Spring fatigued and rollers extremely worn. Customer also stated that they had a power failure and when power came back on, operator no longer working. Customer interested in new door/operator and will be setting up free estimate with office. Emailed estimates for parts replacement. Door can be used manually in meantime and explained to customer safest way so.
