In an email York recommended a UV system for the coil and Bronz-glo as a last resort. York notes that the smell is always from an external cause which is why Pete is having us run the unit in different ways to identify a pattern. Steve is looking into UV system. I have put the door back on, left it in emergency heat and set the fan to on. Dick doesn’t want his em heat on much longer. Call him next week and let him know to turn the heat pump back on. He doesn’t need me to come out for it. He will call if there’s a smell.
