I called Goldy Locks to install a smart Lock. Chris was the technician that came out and he was very friendly but unfamiliar with the lock I wanted installed. He read the instructions and got the lock installed. After he left, I set up the lock with the app on my phone and I discovered he did not do the installation correctly. The lock was set up so it would unlock when it should have been locking. I called the company right away and they had Chris call me. Chris called me back within 10 minutes and I told him the issue. He said he was sure he had installed it correctly and that it really wasn't a big issue that the lock was unlocking when it should have been locking and vice versa. I explained to him that it was a big deal because the smart Lock locks automatically which means my door would be unlocking itself when it should be locked. He said he would come out Monday (the installation was done on a Saturday) but he never showed up. I read the instructions myself and I was able to figure out what he probably had done wrong. I took the lock apart and reinstalled everything exactly as the instructions said. My lock is now working correctly. If Goldy Locks is going to install these new locks, they need to stay up to date and make sure their technicians are familiar with the installation process for that specific lock BEFORE coming out...not figuring it out as they go.
