This was a fairly small water damage cleanup and we were getting started with the work to help the customer and he checked his insurance policy and came to find out he had a rather High deductible. The amount of the deductible was actually about equal to or more than what we estimated the total cost to be. So I just didn't make sense for him to use his insurance we got creative and he's going to do a little more labor and we gave him a deal on equipment.

Mold testing in Orem Utah. We've completed the mold removal and all of the cleaning steps. Mold removal requires some very detailed cleaning. and now we're here collecting post sample air test. This air sample test will hopefully confirm that the space is clean and mold spore levels are at normal levels.
From the owners description there is a lot of mold damage. They were out of town and there was a water leak. No one was home, the leak went on for a long time. That is a sad story by itself to come home and find major damage, but what is even more sad is the insurance company is trying to not cover the damage. I will investigate the water source to the leak and see if it should be a covered event. The main help these people will need is dealing with the insurance company.
I'm doing an inspection in Orem Utah for a variety of damage after a tenant moved out. Some of the damages from cats. the owner understood that the tenant was not supposed to have any pets but the property management company said that the tenant had a doctor's paper that allowed her to have one cat. As they were moving out the owner observed several cats though.
