Soap tested all visible gas fittings and did not find no gas leak did find vent pipe was disconnected from top of water heater. Put back vent pipe on top of water heater make sure it did not come off believe this was the cause of gas smell
Ordered new moen spout for kitchen faucet. EST. 7-10 business days for arrival.
Installed new gas valve and burner assembly. No leaks. Operating properly.
Pilot light wont stay lit for any lengthy duration, recommend replacement of water heater.
Upstairs toilet repaired. Replaced inner components
