The main plumbing task included investigation and corrective action for what turned out to be a sewage leak related to a second-floor toilet inside the house. The corrective action included removing and replacing both a clogged toilet-sewage line, and a shower-water drain line that was affected by sewage backup. An unrelated secondary plumbing task was to remove and replace a water heater that was still functioning well, but was way past its recommended life span. The lead plumber, Ricardo (aka Ace), was very professional, meticulous in his approach, always arrived on-time, and took immense pride in his work. His crew (sometimes Joey, and sometimes Joel) also reflected Ace's values. The overall plumbing effort was a complete success, culminating with a satisfactory inspection for the new water heater installation by the Redondo Beach Building and Safety department. In addition to expertly performing the two separate plumbing efforts, Ace coordinated very well with Mike Diamond field service personnel (Victor), and personnel from other contractors who were subsequently involved in the leak investigation and corrective action effort (which included Leak Detection, Asbestos and Lead Analysis, Demo, and Repair activities). Ace and his crew also answered all of my many questions along the way, and cleaned up the affected work-areas after every one of their visits. Based on the above information, the overall service provided by Ace and his crew was outstanding! I refrained from discussing the pricing aspect of the efforts, because I have no comparative pricing data for the tasks that were performed.
