Pride Plumbing came out and provided a cost estimate to replace three leaking reduced pressure zone (RPZ) backflows (two 3-inch and two 2-inch). This would require us to remove the defective backflows; install the new backflow assemblies with new gaskets, bolts and nuts; and test them for leaks and proper operation. Once the RPZ assemblies pass inspection, we will file the appropriate certification paperwork with the proper agencies.
