Upon arrival met with home owner and guided throughout home to find leak, upon further examination found no present water leaks indication slab leaks from plumbing system.
Pps after hours call for leak in upstairs guest restroom. Pps upon arrival technician found water to already by shut off by homeowner. Pps accessed attic space via crawl hole and asked homeowner to restore water to pin point leak. Pps technician found burst water line causing leak coming from 3/4 inch hot water line feed in attic. Pps technician cut out compromised area of piping (approx. 1 foot) and replaced with new pipe and fittings. Job completed with all necessary fittings.
Pps leak detection. Pps called out for unknown pipe leak. Pps preformed leak detection test via hydrostatic testing and found that leak was not caused by pressurized line. Pps technician believes drain line is cause of the leak. In area of concern there is Secondary drain line vent. Pps preformed extra tests and confirmed leak was coming from improperly installed drain line.
