After arriving to the home to perform work discussed by a previous technician I proceeded to shut the water and gas off to the home followed by removal of the 2 50 gallon water heaters in the crawlspace, I then moved forward with mounting the new navien NPE-240A tankless water heater to the crawlspace wall, followed by dressing the unit and making the necessary water connections, I then proceeded to cut into the 1-1/4†gas main and reduce down to 3/4†black steel and run a dedicated gas line to the new unit with the appropriate service union, emergency shut off valves and change of direction sediment trap, followed by running the 2 inch exhaust line out of the existing vent penetration and sealing the penetration, finally I discharged the temperature and pressure relief valve out of the foundation with the necessary air gap and ran the condensation drain out the same penetration, from there I proceeded to install the new city water softener directly to the left of the tankless, fol
