After arriving to the home, the homeowner made me aware of a leak he noticed in his downstairs half bath toilet. This was noticed today, when painters were painting the bathroom, he heard water dripping on the plastic they payed down. This was occurring for approximately 30-45 minutes. Due to age of the toilet, which is believed to be 20 years old, I recommend replacement and not repairing. I checked the crawlspace and checked for water damage. Fortunately, there was no signs of damage to the subfloor, however water had made its way into the crawlspace. I gave estimates for replacement of the toilet and the toilets in the home, at this time the homeowner wants these estimates emailed to review with his wife this weekend. He would like a follow up call from the office Monday to see how he would like to move forward
