I arrived today to review an inspection report the potential home buyers have received. They wanted estimates to address the issues the inspector picked out during the inspection. I met with the current homeowner and buyers agent on site. During my evaluation of the system, and after reviewing the Plumbing Section of the Inspection Report, I created an Estimate to address the noted concerns. However, I am confident in saying that since the original home was built, multiple plumbing repairs and renovations had occurred and the work done was not inspected. Durham County has a strong compliance with Code Enforcement, and the work currently on the home would not uphold those standards. Although most of the issues pointed out during the inspection pose minor risks and issues, overall many issues will arise if the current plumbing system is left as is.
