After arriving to the home, the homeowner made me aware of 2 toilets that were running and needed fill valves. The homeowner had another plumber come out this morning, but wanted a second opinion. The home is approximately 6 years old, and the toilets are the original Gerber toilets. I made her aware that these are builders grade toilet and typically don’t do well as far as component quality and also flush strength. The toilet in the downstairs half bathroom and upstairs master bathroom are having this issue. I checked the pressure on the whole house to ensure it was within an appropriate pressure range, I read 50psi which is acceptable. I gave options with upfront pricing, and at this time, the homeowner would like the estimates emailed to her, and to discuss with her fiancé these evening, I will follow up tomorrow morning with a phone call to schedule further work.
