Re-pipe the cold intake side of water heater with brass fittings to properly support expansion tank replace existing 2 gal expansion tank if in garage or attic Upon arrival customer made me aware of two issues one that the expansion tank had fallen over due to it piped in on PEX also because the expansion tank it failed. Also I gave the customer diagnostic options on opening the ceiling and testing the shower pan as well I gave multiple options and out front pricing on both items at this time we are only going to make the repair on re-piping the cold side of the water heater with brass fittings to properly support the expansion tank and reconnect to PEx Nick pleasants Morrisville,nc
