Prompt, Friendly Servicd

I placed a request online and received a phone call back the same day. Kyle was friendly and competent. He gladly answered all of my questions and replaced our leaky valve. As we recently moved into our house, he helped me to understand what each valve was for and offered to label them for me. He went the extra mile and I won’t hesitate to use them again for any plumbing needs.

Service

For those of us who don't have computer access, it is necessary to receive a phone call to let us know a "window of time" for service. Otherwise, service is great. Will use Southside again.

Customer had low flow in her kitchen sink faucet. I cleaned up the aerator and it now flows much better. I gave estimates for other work that I recommend. I would replace the pressure reducing valve, shutoff valves, kitchen sink faucet and the hosebib on the side of the house.

Southside plumbing replaced old hose bib that had frozen and split. We were able to unthread the old one, and thread a new one in. Once water was turned back on we tested for leaks, and everything was working properly. We were also able 5pm get the old hose off of the old bib and save it for future use.

Customer noticed water damage on the wooden floor, at the corner of the kitchen sink peninsula. We pulled the kick plate off and looked under the dishwasher. We saw water dripping under the dishwasher when it was running. We saw a black corrugated tube that had a crack in it. This is a water line of the dishwasher. I recommend a new dishwasher or an appliance guy to look at it.

Hello Chris & Sarah, It’s always good catching up and see your Family grow. I believe it was best to start over and put a new hose bib in in the backyard. Cut out drywall Basement ceiling to gain access to hose bib to the backyard. Installed new antifreeze hose bib, added new half-inch copper pipe in fittings. Provided an access panel For future access if needed.

The customer had a couple concerns and questions dealing with a reverse osmosis system, a hot water issue at the master bath Roman tub faucet and pressure issues in the master bath shower. -The house pressure was about 52 psi. The existing pressure reducing valve was a plastic one. Rather than trying to adjust the pressure reducing valve, the client decided to replace the pressure reducing valve with a more dependable brass one. After the prv was installed, the house pressure was set to 70 psi. -the master soaker tub was 108 degrees. I adjusted the mixing valve to be 122 degrees at the master tub. -Once the pressure was increased, the master shower had better pressure. I gave an estimate for a client supplied RO system.

Customer had a lot of roots in their sump pit. It was causing the pump to get clogged and work slower. I cleaned out the pit of all rocks and roots. It is now spotless. There are some old roots around the perimeter drain pipes but they are cut off at the wall of the pit.

Southside plumbing replaced a hose bib by the backflow that had frozen and split. Replaced approximately 2’ of piping and got water back on. Everything was working well when I left.

Southside Plumbing replaced the old drain on the sprinkler line. It was a threaded boiler drain, thar had began to leak and was not closing fully. Replaced with a new boiler drain, that is a quarter turn style. Turned water on for sprinkler line, and tested for leaks. Everything was working well when I left.

_ Maxed out the temperature rating on the electric water heater. - Halfway closed the compression valve on the hot side leading to the sink too slightly reduce flow for the hot water to keep up.

Customer is selling their home. They called us to look at a couple of issues that the home inspector brought up. One issue was with the jetted master bath tub. There was a leak on the piping for the jets, in the wall. The inspector also pointed out a problem with a csst gas line and how it was ran through the outside wall, under the deck. - Jetted Tub- I was able to recreate the leak on the tubing for the jets of the jetted tub. I saw 2 places, on the left and right, of the tub where water was dripping from the jet tubing. The leaks are coming from the joints where the tee (for the jet) is connected to the supply tubing. These leaks are not something a plumber handles. We deal with drain problems or water system repairs. We don’t deal with leaks to the interior water pipes for the jets. We could replace a pump, but for this problem I would try to contact anyone who repairs jetted tubs or hot tub service guys. - For the gas line penetration, I agree the line needs to be changed to com
