Nine brackets with underpinning and 30+ jacks were used to balance my foundation in August 2019. The first night they left nine holes around my foundation uncovered. I have two small dogs and could not send them out into the backyard unaccompanied for fear they would fall in. I covered the holes with boxes as best I could. The company also used my electricity on two different days. I was told that if the jacks and/or underpinning needed to be adjusted, it would be done. The first time I requested to have the jacks adjusted because the floor was not level and new cracks were forming in the walls was October 2019. Someone came out & looked at it. I was told I needed to wait until the summer to make sure the soil was dry. About seven weeks ago in March 2020, the house started creaking again especially on the outside east wall. I sent at least three emails requesting that the jacks and underpinning get adjusted. The email I received back did not provide an appointment or the expectation of an appointment. The work on the foundation cost me all of my savings. Finances have been tight since I paid for the foundation work to be done. I would very much like the job to be finished. I hope my experience is unique. I heard a lot of good things about the company. Hopefully others have better service. I put off doing this survey, because I wanted to give a good review.

I asked "Bay Area Underpinnings" to take a look at my front porch and sidewalk and give me an estimate to level my large porch and thirty feet of sidewalk. I was a bit skeptical that this job could actually be done satisfactory, but made an appointment to start work in two weeks. Brian showed up at 8am yesterday and immediately started work. The completed job was perfect with the sidewalk and porch back to their original level position as poured fifty years ago. I'm very satisfied with the completed job! The alternative method would have been to completely remove my massive front porch and sidewalk and pour a new porch and sidewalk. That would have created a big mess, taken a lot longer, and been much more expensive.

This company is awesome! They are prompt, professional, hard workers, clean up continuously! Steven came twice, gave honest opinion and fair estimate. They followed up with us every step of the way, did extra little requests when we asked.
