Arrived at location on 5/12/22 - To check bottom Vulcan convection oven. Customer states that when he opens the door the fan doesn’t shut off. Accessed the door switch and found door switch sticking. Proceeded and removed existing door switch and installed new door switch. Checked operation okay. Fan is now shutting off with door open. Convection oven in operation.
Arrived at location on 3/14/22 - Arrived onsite to check Prince Castle bun steamer. Checked voltage at plug and to unit - 214/60/1. Brought unit into operation. Unit heating through preheat, ready mode and initiated steam cycle. No water flow. Checked and found water dispense tube totally encrusted with scale. Silicone tube compromised and needs to be replaced. Will need to order, return and replace. Steamer not in service. QWP authorized by Brenda Ferguson. Returned to location on 3/17/22 - Arrived and pulled unit out and onto the table and removed the faulty dispense tube. Clean out the platen pass through hole and inserted the new SS tubing . Plug in and water in and the unit did dispense water. Close it up and set back in place and allow to fully heat and test the steam cycles and ok. Back in service.
Arrived at location on 11/16/21 - Cleaned coils per Paul’s request. Verified proper operation.
Arrived on site on 5/10/21 to check on fryer in food truck. Pilot kept going out do to the high limit was tripped. Reset it, checked millivolts and received a reading of .215. Changed out thermopile and received a reading of 275 millivolts. Filled fryer with oil and tested burners.
checked bottom oven, found right blower making noise. pulled fan and cleaned carbon from behind it. bearings are good and motor spins freely. put fan back on and tested unit, is operational, job complete.
checked out bottom oven, door right side was tight, had to pull hard, hammered some plate now door opens and closes smoothly, unit in service
Roll-In Cooler Evaporator fan guards and coil covered in dust causing poor airflow. Cleaned guards and coil box temperature 37F. Thermostat cycling off at 35F.
Checked Southbend flat top unit, found flu for griddle and 2 burner range blocked in rear. Took back panel off and cleaned out so unit could breath. Also cleaned air vent in regulator. Cleaned out front of grill behind splash guard. Tested unit, calibrated left side of griddle 50 degrees. Chef wants right side hotter. There is a pile of food and carbon under range burners, they will clean. Unit operational, job complete.
Unit caught on fire. They claim oil left fryer but do not know where it went. Probe and limit are no good. Will obtain and return. Unit is down. Also, drain leaking by. Note- will fill with water and boil out to see if it leaks somewhere. 4/20/17 Removed old and replaced with new parts. Filled with oil. Brought to setpoint of 350. Cycled off at 353, on @ 348. Checked for leaks in drain, probe & limit. No leaks. Unit operational, job complete.
Found air switch not closing. Played around with adjustment, but cannot get to work correctly. Moved wire on switch to normally closed so unit would heat. Will order new air switch. -- Removed old switch and installed new. Reassembled. Turned on. Unit heated to temp . Back in service. 9/15/16 Rich B
PITCO GAS FRYER Tech- Display reads POLISH. Turn on pump and no bubbles. Removed pan and suction pipe. Turned on pump and put my hand over opening. Pump has suction. Oil pan full of cold oil. Bailed out oil using pot. Cleaned out pan. Crumbs in bottom. Changed filter paper and reassembled. Heated oil and drained. Turnon pump and now it filters. Customer doing polish now. Finished polish. Filled & turned on. Heated to temp.
