West Coast was friendly, gave a competitive bid, but most of all were able to complete the roof within a couple weeks of the bid. We are listing our house for sale, and needed a new roof, which can be tough after the holidays and with winter weather. They were able to start a week earlier, and were done in less than two days (full tear off with some new plywood). They were even able to include removal of a large non-permitted carport structure in the bid, which made our lives easier. It was laying on top of the roof and wouldn't make sense to keep since it would cause issues with the future roof. Great work, quick turnaround, cleaned the site, and they even came back to do touch up paint where the carport was covering the siding. Saved us digging around for old paint cans and getting on a ladder with a brush. Totally unexpected and proves they go the extra mile. Thank you!

Victor and his team did a good job. They were easy to work with and responsive to my phone calls & emails. The interior portion of the skylight was a bit of a mess, apparently because the outside crew failed to drill the right guidance holes or to remove the insulation (so that it wouldn't need to be removed through the house). I will need to do another couple rounds of touch-up on the drywall & texture as well, but overall they did a good job. I would work with these guys again.

We got 3 different quotes for a new roof and gutters. We chose West Coast Roofing and Paint because the estimator was friendly, knowledgeable and very personable. The installers arrived at the time scheduled, they worked efficiently and the whole roof and gutters were completed in a timely manner. They cleaned up after themselves, hauled away the roofing debris and even the extra satellite dishes that were on the roof, which was super appreciated. When the work was completed the final invoice reflected the quoted price, meaning there weren’t any additional hidden fees tacked on. Overall the roof and gutters look great, the cost was appropriate and it was done in a timely manner.

Based on the recommendation of a friend who had their roof replaced, we got a quote from West Coast Roofing. The price was competitive with other bids and Lucas, the sales rep was knowledgeable. I did have one major concern about an area of the roof that had a history of leaking. He said they would take care of it. They ended up rebuilding the problem area of the roof and did a good job. I would recommend them without hesitation. They work hard to go the extra mile.

I have been in the construction industry for over 20 years, owning my own remodeling business for 10 of those years. Switching sub contractors is something I don't like to do, as you get to know your team and build a relationship. However our roofer went into a new line of business so we were looking for a new contractor. West Coast Roofing, was excellent. From getting an estimate, scheduling the work, doing the work, cleaning up- in all the areas they did excellent. Which isn't easy in this field of moving parts, many of which are out of ones control (like the weather). The did a complete tear off, and re roof in 2 days. They have 4-6 people on each job which is fantastic as it gets the work done quickly. They cleaned up the yard, garden and surround areas very well. They caught some problems- our old skylight leaking, and addressed the issue quickly. Now the roof is looking wonderful, professionally done, and clean. On top of this the pricing was very competitive, typically one doesn't get service, price, and craftsmanship all in one- but with West Coast Roofing we really did get them all!

West Coast Roofing and Painting did a complete re-roofing job on our 1920's NE Portland house. They were a joy to work with from start to finish and all at a very competitive price. One part of the garage was leaking from storm damage and Victor, who does the quotes on-site, climbed up on the roof and fixed a tarp to hold the roof until the start day a couple of weeks later. He said call anytime if the tarp needed adjustment. They removed two layers of composition shingles and one layer of original cedar shingles, removed a couple of chimneys not in use, installed new decking everywhere, and installed a great looking new shingle roof. They also replaced any rotted fascia boards and painted the new boards. Best of all there was NO trace they had been there once the job was done. All in all, a GREAT job.
