We had a rather complicated re-roof w/ 2 layers of shingles to remove, a very steep pitch, and no plywood underneath. All in all, I felt like it should have cost far more and was very please to receive their bid. I jumped at the chance to work with them and I was glad I did. From their initial contact (through home adviser), I was pleased with their responsiveness and professionalism. They were not pushy in any way and never tried to sell us products or services we didn't need. The job was done in a very timely manner and they communicated well throughout the duration of the project. They left our yard clean and made it look like it hadn't even been touched! Nice job!

I needed to get a roofing estimate for a home I was purchasing and it was urgent due to the fact that my inspection closing window date was ending. Victor was highly responsive and he was able to get me a quote the same day after driving over to inspect the roof. He was very thorough in his analysis of the original roof and provided a detailed breakdown and explanation of what recommendations he had for the job. We also indicated specific dates to have the roof completed before closing on the home purchase and they were able to get it done well before those dates. Victor kept me informed throughout the entire project so that I was aware of the progress. The final product looks amazing and I am confident that they built a roof that will last for decades. Asael and his crew were responsive and courteous. The weather delayed them a day getting started, but once they were on-site they finished the entire roof in a day, with gutters the next day. They even worked Easter morning to finish cleanup! The previous roof was in worse shape than they'd initially estimated for--there were shortcuts taken last time and so they found that they had to replace more plywood than anticipated, and they replaced over 100 feet of fascia board. Even with those added pieces, there was no schedule impact and the final bill was darn close to estimate. They clearly take great pride in their work, and were entirely respectful of our property (no damaged shrubs). The new roof looks beautiful!

They proved the best price out of 5 or 6 estimates I received. They did have some nails that penetrated to the eaves, but they repaired it at my earliest convenience which was much appreciated. They also completed the work in only one day (roof was about 2000 sq feet).

May 15th 2018, we had a new roof put on our home. After many bids on a total roof replacement we decided to go with West Coast Roofing and Painting located in SE Portland. My experience from start to finish was totally a pleasure. They completely explained the different roofing products and the advantage of each. There was no up sale on any product just facts on their quality. As I said from start to finish it was a pleasure working with them. In a day and a half they transformed our roof to a master piece. The job was professional and under budget compared to the other 10 bids we received. Best of all was how they cleaned up. There was no scraps or nails to be found. We also had the chimney removed and the structural repair was fast and done with excellent craftsmanship. We had multiple quotes and this company was the only one that actually quoted for replacing skylights. Our roof was actually leaking...therefore I think we were moved up the queue. Work started quickly, the workers cleaned up every day, and we were very informed. Will probably ask them to paint our house next year.
