Filing a couple of writs of habeas corpus at the Dallas County bond desk at Lew Sterrett Jail to have bonds set on two fraudulent removal destruction concealment of writing (switching price tags) cases out of the Garland Police Department. Misdemeanor cases are set at $500 so the clients can be bonded out without having to wait for a judge to come set the bonds in the morning. Suburban jails don't have judges round the clock to set bonds so people who don't know to call a lawyer often get stuck in jail overnight.
