Had an Assault Family Violence case in Lancaster that I couldn't cover because of an out of county conflict. So I had a top notch attorney from the old school go out there. Witness showed up and client didn't want to take a plea so the former prosecutor under District Attorney Henry Wade dusted off his trial skills and gave them a trial. Not guilty. Smiles all around (at least on our side). Honestly, it felt like sending John Wayne.
Recently posted some attorney bonds on City of Lancaster Municipal Court warrants to secure the release of a client who was held in Grand Prairie Jail. That kept them from having to wait to get transferred to DeSoto and then having to wait to see their judge. It will also keep them from having convictions, suspensions and surcharges on their tickets. That's because we work with the prosecutors, courts and our clients to see that these cases end up being dismissed. We don't just do felonies and misdemeanors, we also help clear up traffic tickets and driver's licenses as well. When people can drive to and from work legally they tend to have an easier time staying out of trouble,

Had 2 clients with about 20 cases in Lancaster today. Got all of one client's cases dismissed and over half of the other's cases dismissed. The remaining cases were deferred so they will also end in dismissals once the deferreds are completed.
