Just leaving Richardson Municipal Court where I accepted a deferred on behalf of my client for her ran a red light ticket. She didn't have to leave work to show up for court. We did it all for her. Simple stuff, but sometimes that's all that's needed.
Watching a video for a red light case. Client swears the light was yellow as he went through. Video shows it was red. Client will probably decide to take a deferred when he sees the video. That happens a lot.
Was just up at the JP Court in Collin County where I got a failure to pay toll violation dismissed for a friend of mine.
Just handled a traffic violation for a CDL license holder in a way that will keep him from having negative consequences for his license.
Posted attorney bonds in Plano at the jail to secure release on my client on for Plano traffic ticket warrants from Plano Municipal Court. They will send a release to the Dallas County Jail (Lew Sterrett) and he'll get out this evening.
Had a great day in Plano Municipal Court. Had three clients with multiple tickets and some very high fines. We got some dismissals and some hefty reductions so that they could have a fair shot at getting their license matters back in order. When it's all over, every one of their cases will be dismissed. No convictions, no surcharges.
Went to Richardson Municipal Court to get a client time served on his traffic tickets there.
