Went to Wilmer today to handle a speeding ticket for a client who was going way too fast for most courts to grant a deferred. But we still got him a deferred.
Going above and beyond tonight to post a couple of bonds for a client so he won't get arrested in court later this morning. It's 1:38 a.m. and all I want to do is go home and sleep.
Went to City of Wilmer Municipal Court to set cases for the attorney docket. Judge cannot dismiss cases on her own as part of a plea bargain. Have to see the prosecutor for that.
Posting bonds late to keep my client from being arrested on his Wilmer warrants. Life is better when you're not in jail.
At the Wilmer Police Department on Christmas Eve to post bonds for my client on her traffic tickets (speeding and FTA) to keep Santa from taking her to jail.
