Warranty- Taped all tears at the supply and return plenums, Installed 3 T6 thermostats, replaced damper motor for living room zone, and primed/glued flu pipe fittings. System is working, 20x25x5, pics uploaded
I secured the toe kick’s to the floor
I changed out the blower motor control board and also the gas valve also went upstairs and cut back the two toe kicks in the kitchen. This was Full parts and labor warranty system is running and operating like it supposed to be.
Warranty- Control board is throwing a 61 blower fault code, right side Honeywell damper is getting stuck closed, and gas valve pressure port is stuck I’m unable to reduce gas pressures. After cycling power furnace does run so just in case a control board will also be ordered. Pics uploaded I will be ordering a gas valve with LP kit, control board, and a blower motor from apex. (Should have a Damper motor at shop)
Wires from zone board to equipment was not correct size wire so it wasn’t making good connection. Replaced wire with 18/8 wire and wiring is tight and system working properly.
Set refrigerant charge to 10 degrees subcooling however the suction pressure still somewhat lower than desirable. 98/257 3° superheat 10° subcooling. System appears to just not have enough blower cfm available. Double checked dampers and ducts. We need to verify the tonnage of the existing furnace. Appears to be 4 ton. We also need to address the direction of the bypass damper and levelness of system. Make sure that no ductwork is pinched on return or supply plenum. Photos are uploaded of furnace, bypass, and etc.
The system was low agin called Kyle he said there most be a leak in the coil. He’s going to call the homeowner and talk to him about doing a ac coil change out. I did not install the uav light cause when we do the change out it may get broken
Changed i’ll return Plenum reconnect and all the ducks . Also checked Freon levels and they are good. We also had to put a brick in the back of the unit to make it level for the water will drain into the condensation pump. Need to come back and install UVA light and system also need to have a 4x8 toe kick
