My garbage disposal was leaking. They gave me an estimate (flat rate) of $750. I got it done by another company for $250. Same disposal in both cases.

They tried not to tell me that they changed the furnace I purchased with a smaller unit. I purchased a 80k btu furnace and they installed a 60k btu furnace without asking me. I overheard the conversation they were having with their boss and even he didnt tell me they were going to which the furnace. After that they wanted to charge me more for a 60k btu unit than they charged me for a 80k btu unit.

Upon inspection, the customer reported that the burner would ignite briefly before shutting off. I examined the system's operation and identified a dirty flame sensor as the issue. I carefully cleaned the flame sensor to remove any debris. Following the cleaning, I tested the unit, and it is now functioning correctly, ensuring efficient and reliable operation.
Upon arrival, we began by inspecting the area where the issue was reported. Removing the clean-out cover revealed a significant accumulation of water and debris, far beyond what the client could manage alone. We then consulted with the neighbor to confirm if they were experiencing similar problems. After our investigation, it became clear that the issue was likely related to the city's infrastructure, possibly due to a blockage or freezing. While we couldn't resolve the problem, we appreciated the opportunity to assist. We waived the diagnostic fee in hopes of a positive review and thank you for choosing our services.
I arrived at the site with two heaters, carefully inspecting each unit to ensure they were in perfect working condition. After confirming their functionality, I transported the heaters to the designated area, ensuring they were placed safely and securely. I then explained the features and usage instructions to the customer, addressing any questions they had. I demonstrated how to operate the heaters effectively and provided tips for optimal performance. The customer was satisfied with the delivery and setup, and I ensured they understood the maintenance requirements for the heaters.
The customer contacted us to schedule an installation service, but later decided to cancel. Despite multiple attempts to reach Brian, the primary contact, we were unable to establish communication. We followed up through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and text messages, but received no response. Due to the lack of communication, we were unable to proceed with the installation. We ensured that all records were updated to reflect the cancellation and provided the customer with a confirmation of the cancellation.
I conducted a thorough furnace inspection and identified that the pressure switch was not closing properly. The client mentioned they had recently cleared the roof jack, after which the system would ignite and then short cycle. Upon examining the system, I discovered a dirty flame sensor. I cleaned the flame sensor and monitored the unit as it fired multiple times, but the issue persisted. Despite my efforts, I could not resolve the problem. The system is currently operational.
Upon arrival, I assessed the unit and identified a grinding noise originating from the inducer motor. After a thorough inspection, I confirmed that the system was operating correctly, but the noise was excessive. I took a CO2 reading in the supply duct in the bathroom, which showed 0 ppm, indicating proper ventilation. The flame sensor was dirty, so I cleaned it using sandpaper. Considering the unit's age and condition, I recommended a furnace replacement. I provided an estimate for the replacement and filled out a parts order form for a new inducer motor, although I did not recommend repairing it due to the unit's overall condition. I also applied a military discount to the replacement estimate.
I began by ensuring the thermostat was set to the cooling mode. I then disabled the scheduling feature to allow for manual control of the system. Next, I meticulously cleaned the flame sensor to ensure optimal performance and safety. Following this, I conducted a carbon monoxide test to verify the system's efficiency and safety. I also cleared the outdoor termination to remove any obstructions that could impede airflow. Throughout the process, I maintained a focus on precision and safety, ensuring that all components were functioning correctly. The system is now ready for use, providing a comfortable environment.
Upon arrival, I identified that the data tag was missing from the equipment. However, I successfully retrieved the BTU information from the burner tag. This allowed me to proceed with the installation. The process involved careful assessment and precise measurements to ensure compatibility. I completed the installation in a timely manner, and it is expected to be fully operational within 2-3 days. My expertise ensured a smooth and efficient job, minimizing any potential disruptions.
Our team successfully replaced the faulty igniter for the furnace, ensuring it operates efficiently and safely. We carefully diagnosed the issue, removed the old igniter, and installed a new one, following all safety protocols. The furnace is now functioning correctly, providing reliable heating. We collected the payment upon completion of the job, ensuring all transactions were handled smoothly. Our goal is to provide prompt and professional service to our clients.
Service technician called out to service gas furnace in Reynoldsburg OH
The old furnace was carefully dismantled, ensuring all components were safely removed. The new furnace was then installed, with precise attention to detail in connecting all necessary ducts and electrical systems. Safety checks were conducted to confirm proper operation, and the system was tested to ensure efficiency. The area was cleaned, and all tools and materials were properly stored. The customer was informed about the new system's features and maintenance tips.
I spent an hour attempting to thaw the frozen water lines using a combination of warm water and a hairdryer to expedite the process. Despite these efforts, the lines remained frozen. I then escalated the issue, recommending further investigation into potential underlying causes to prevent future occurrences. This included checking for insulation issues and ensuring the system was operating correctly.
I recently addressed an issue with the furnace by replacing the main limit switch. This task was covered under warranty, ensuring no additional cost to the customer. The furnace was inspected, and the faulty switch was identified and replaced with a new one. Post-replacement, the furnace was tested to confirm proper functionality. The job was completed efficiently, restoring the furnace to optimal performance.
