Bryson Allen-Grover and Steve Hixon were both fantastic. They got the job done. Even with the delay of getting the gas turned off. — but they were in it and got it all fixed and everything is warming back up.

Upon inspection, the heating system had recently undergone an upgrade with new wiring and a new disconnect installed by an electrician through Old Republic. However, the prongs inside the new disconnect were not making proper contact with the pull-out. I meticulously adjusted the prongs to ensure they made a secure and reliable connection. Following this, I checked the system's operation, measuring the blower motor's amp draw at 0.9 and the heat strips' amp draw at 11.8 on both coils. To confirm the system's functionality, I allowed it to run for 20 minutes, during which it operated without any issues. The heating system is now performing correctly, providing efficient and reliable heating.

During the furnace inspection, I discovered duct leakage in the attic, which was causing the attic to overheat and melt ice down into the walls. Additionally, I identified a high-efficiency furnace in the attic, which was producing 6 to 8 gallons of water daily. This is unusual for a high-efficiency furnace, as they typically do not produce water. I sent an estimate to address these issues and ensure the system operates at the required 80% efficiency.

Upon arrival, we identified that the door unit had been completely dislodged from its frame. The initial assessment revealed that the door had blown off due to extreme weather conditions. We proceeded to remove the damaged unit and sourced a replacement part that matched the specifications of the original equipment. After careful installation, we ensured that all hinges, locks, and seals were properly aligned and secured. The new door unit is now operating smoothly, providing the intended functionality and security. We conducted a thorough inspection to confirm that the installation was flawless and that the door operates as expected under normal conditions.
Upon inspection, the heating system installed a year ago was not functioning. Initially, a faulty thermostat was identified, but further examination revealed an improperly angled flue pipe, leading to condensation buildup in the furnace. This condensation had caused the heat exchanger to rust severely. I informed the customer of the necessary replacement of the furnace with a high-efficiency model and ensured proper flue venting. An estimate for the replacement has been emailed to the customer.
I successfully completed the task by replacing the necessary parts and thoroughly testing the heating system. The line pressure was initially at 11 inches, and after the replacement, I adjusted the output to the recommended 10 inches. This adjustment ensures optimal performance and efficiency of the heating system. Each component was carefully inspected and tested to confirm that the system operates correctly and safely. The heating system is now fully functional and ready for use.

Upon receiving a call, we promptly attended to the customer's solar panel system. The customer reported that the solar panel power was not reaching the furnace, refrigerator, or the basement. After a thorough inspection, we identified that the issue was due to a faulty connection in the electrical wiring. We carefully traced the wiring to locate the problem and successfully repaired the connection. Following the repair, we tested the system to ensure that power was being distributed correctly. The customer was pleased to see that the furnace, refrigerator, and basement were now receiving power. We provided the customer with a detailed explanation of the issue and the steps taken to resolve it, ensuring they understood the solution and could prevent similar issues in the future.
