Took the time to look things over and cleaned parts that fixed the problem. Even sent us an estimate if cleaning it wasn’t enough to let us know what needed to be done.

I inspected the toilet as requested, but the client indicated the issue was with the floor drain. They mentioned it had never clogged until after radon work. Upon inspection, I found a strainer and a black plug obstructing the drain. Removing these components allowed the drain to function properly, resolving the water issue.
We were called to provide a plumbing estimate for a water heater issue. Upon inspection, it was found that the installed water heater was the wrong size, and the venting was incorrect. The water heater, standing at approximately 58 inches tall, required a shorter vent to be run properly. We assessed the situation and provided an estimate for a 40-gallon short water heater, ensuring it meets the client's needs and complies with safety standards.
Upon inspection, it was determined that the unit's venting was not pitched correctly, which could lead to potential safety hazards and inefficiencies. To ensure safety and proper functioning, I refrained from touching the system. Instead, I applied a red tag to the unit, clearly stating the recommendation to not use it until the venting issue is resolved. This action was taken to prevent any possible damage or risks associated with improper venting.
Upon inspection, the unit was found to have an incomplete spinning mechanism, which was not fully operational. The suspension system was tight, requiring adjustments to ensure proper functionality. Additionally, the control board was identified as a necessary replacement to restore full operational efficiency. The unit was carefully disassembled, the suspension was adjusted, and the control board was replaced to ensure optimal performance.
Upon inspection, the furnace was tripping on its limit switch due to restricted airflow. I began by examining the floor return and discovered a clogged filter, which I promptly removed to restore proper airflow. Additionally, I identified that the main trunk line for the basement required more supply vents. To address this, I cut in two 4x10 supply vents, enhancing the distribution of air throughout the area. I also advised the customer on filter usage, recommending they switch from MERV 11 to MERV 8 filters unless the filter rack is upgraded to accommodate larger filters. This change will help prevent future clogging and ensure efficient furnace operation.
We were called for plumbing maintenance. Due to the water heater's age, installed in 2012, we did not flush it. The 50-gallon natural gas expansion tank was full of water, prompting an estimate for replacement. The client's home has a radon system and 2.5 bathrooms. A leak was confirmed from the first-floor half bath toilet, causing water to drip into the basement. An estimate was provided for a reset. Other toilets and laboratory pop-ups functioned well, with no water leaks observed. The standing showers and tub diverters operated correctly, with no dripping after use.
I successfully managed a financing arrangement for a client through Synchrony Bank, ensuring they could enjoy the benefits of an 18-month same-as-cash promotion. This involved carefully reviewing their financial situation and eligibility, guiding them through the application process, and providing detailed explanations of the terms and conditions. I ensured all documentation was accurately completed and submitted on time, facilitating a smooth approval process. Throughout the engagement, I maintained clear communication, addressing any questions or concerns the client had, and ultimately helping them secure favorable financing terms.

We performed a comprehensive plumbing maintenance service, ensuring all systems were operating efficiently. The plumbing system was flushed thoroughly, resulting in minimal sediment buildup, which helps maintain optimal performance. During our inspection, we meticulously checked all drains, identifying a small leakage in the main copper drain. This issue, if left unaddressed, could escalate into a significant problem. Fortunately, we were able to address it promptly. Overall, the inspection revealed that everything was in good condition, and we took necessary steps to prevent potential future issues.
On Wednesday, I successfully replaced the old furnace with a new, energy-efficient model. The process began with a thorough inspection of the existing system to identify any issues. I then carefully removed the old furnace, ensuring all connections and components were safely disconnected. The new furnace was installed, and all connections were securely made. I tested the system to ensure it was functioning correctly and provided the homeowner with a detailed explanation of the new system's features and maintenance tips. The job was completed efficiently, leaving the home more comfortable and energy-efficient.
I performed comprehensive plumbing maintenance, starting with a thorough inspection of the tank's operation. I flushed out sediment that had accumulated within the tank, ensuring optimal performance and longevity. Additionally, I conducted a radon test, which revealed a high reading of 7pci. Given this result, I strongly recommend installing a radon mitigation system to safeguard against the potential health risks associated with prolonged exposure to elevated radon levels.
Upon inspection, the gas valve was identified as the source of a leak at the orifice. I carefully disassembled the valve to access the internal components. After identifying the faulty orifice, I replaced it with a new one, ensuring a precise fit. I then reassembled the valve and conducted a thorough test to confirm the leak was resolved. The system was checked for proper operation, and all safety protocols were followed to ensure the job was completed efficiently and safely.
This project involved removing the existing 40-gallon gas water heater, disconnecting it, and safely disposing of it. A new 40-gallon gas water heater was installed in a drain pan for added protection. The leaking trap primer was replaced, and the corroded ½-inch copper pipe was also replaced. All labor and standard materials were included. Any additional issues or code upgrades were handled through a change order.
