I installed a Five Star 13 SEER 3 Ton Air Conditioner. The customer has upgraded the unit to Carrier. I cycled and monitored the system and it is operational at this time.
I went to customers home to replace an out of warranty part. I installed new stat and system was blowing fuses. After looking at everything found that this stat is DC volts only and system is AC volts. Put old stat back on and system is operational. Customer is gonna buy a Nest stat and pay us to come back out and install it and rewire it at the furnace.
I installed a Five Star 96% Gas Furnace (Up to 100,000 BTU) Honeywell T6 Programmable Thermostat/Emerson 1F85U Five Star 16 SEER Air Conditioner. Cycled and monitored the system. Operating normally at this time.
I went to the customer's home to install a Five Star 96% 60,000 BTU Gas Furnace, a Five Star 16 SEER 2.5 Ton Air Conditioner, Aprilaire 500 Humidifier, and a iWave-R Air Purifier. Everything was fully operational when I left.
I performed a tune up and safety check on a Westinghouse heat pump. I found that the unit was having intermittent TXV issues. I was able to get the pressures stabilized. I also found that the compressor-motor surge capacitor needed replaced so I replaced it.
Dispatched to customer's home to diagnose no heat issue with furnace. Customer stated system stopped heating overnight System is a dual fuel heat-pump & gas furnace. Upon arrival I turned unit on at thermostat - Only blower would come on. Installed new thermostat and wired it for heat using gas furnace only. Issue resolved.
During a tune up on a 2013 Westinghouse furnace, I pulled and cleaned the flame sensor. The blower capacitor is reading out of specifications so I replaced. Everything is operating as intended at time of departure.
I completed a diagnostic on a Lennox gas furnace. Determined that this unit does not have a condensate trap. Unit has been draining directly onto the floor for awhile. I will need to get pricing for the condensate trap and then order once repairs have been authorized.
I replaced a humidifier pad and the inducer motor. System is operational upon departure.
I found that a bearing going bad within the motor is causing loud noise. We will be back to replace 90% OEM Inducer Motor. Furnace is operational at time of departure.
The clients unit caught on fire. Will need a heat kit, circuit board and a transformer. Client will also need to have new electric and breakers added at box. Client thinking about replacing unit.
