I performed a diagnostic on a 2012 Goodman gas furnace that was producing a gas smell. Using soap bubbles I sprayed the area in question and was unable to detect any leaks. I then used a digital leak detector and got the same results. I replaced the knuckle just to be on the safe side.

During a tune up on a Bryant electric furnace, I found some of the thermostat wires were not connected. I connected them properly and the system was working as it should upon departure.
Upon arrival I found the inducer motor kicking on for 2 seconds and then shutting back off and trying again. I checked the voltage with the inducer motor plugged in and it would lose voltage from board right after coming on. I checked the voltage while the inducer motor was not plugged in and board would send constant voltage to inducer motor. Inducer motor seems like it’s back feeding electricity to board.

Used aluminum tape to stop The metal from rubbing and the noise went away this is a Carrier Gas Furnace 96% Variable Speed Two-Stage 80,000 BTU.
I am Performing our Five Star Tune-Up & Safety Check on a 2020 Electric Carrier Furnace. All readings were within manufacturer's specifications, unit operating properly at this time.
Removed gas valve and installed new valve. Restarted system and checked for leaks. Set pressures. As of departure the system has been running for 20 mins with no issues
Customer recently purchased the house advised had no trouble with ac, however when they went to turn the heat on there was no heat Customer further advise that when they would switch the fan from auto to on the fan will come on Checked thermostat wiring on the furnace board and found no problems checked wiring at the thermostat found it incorrectly wired. Rewired thermostat and restarted system. System is operational and heating the house cycled system on and off several times before departing
