Electrical work

Although the job is not finished yet due to a light needing to be repaired…which is on us not the contractor, the work that was completed was done efficiently. They showed up on time, determined the material that was needed and completed what could be finished. Once we have the light repaired, they will return and finish the job.

tech cris thompson did an outstanding job, once the compressor was made available to him. parts availability needs to looked at , and distributor needs to be changed and coordination with manufacturer when critical parts are needed must happen.

Service check on new 2020 Unit

I am an immuno-compromised lady. Tech was on time- very polite & let me know he was Covid-vaccinated when I inquired. He was efficient and changed my cold air return filter when I ask. A+ has been looking after my HVAC needs for years now & I am satisfied with their services!

Prompt Service

Christopher Thompson promptly diagnosed the issue as a the variable speed fan failure. He was unable to obtain information about the replacement cost since it was a Saturday. However, he said that the A+ office would be contacting me on Monday to give me updated information. That did not happen - see the review on July 15 for Mark Wallace.

Found a dual run capacitor on the outdoor unit was bad replaced capacitor 45/5 all systems are running at this time

Call vac system has not been operating properly. It is a 2015 train heat pump split system. Only thing I could find wrong with it is the main zone damper is sticking partially closed when it should be open this He’s causing and airflow restriction on the main zone which is what is creating the ice on the coil.Zone damper needs to be replaced it is a 16 inch and it is in line on hard metal.

Reset outdoor unit control board. No cause for Low Pressure Fault was presently detected. System is in good working order.

2019 ruud heat pump system. Checked voltage, amp draw, connections, pressures, capacitors, contactor, inspected uv bulb, tested float switches, ensured all connections throughout systems were properly tightened down and in proper place, tested float switches and rewired them into series. This system is working properly properly at this time.

2020 system was discovered to have a blown capacitor in the outdoor unit. Failure of a capacitor at this age is improbable, but not impossible. The system is not low of refrigerant, so the capacitor seems to have failed simply due to heat.

System was found to be frozen solid from the inside out. System needs to defrost in order to properly diagnosed. No issues were detected with the blower or zone equipment at this time. Please contact customer about rescheduling for Monday.
