I feel Joel did a fine job of inspection and maintenance of my heating system. He didn't rush in and out, But took time to do a through examination of the system and gave a good report
System components checked. Airflow, attic insulation and registers are an issue because air isn't going where it should rooms don't stay the right temp without proper insulation.
Heating performance tune up times one system. Inspect blower, evaporator. Test all safety features on air handler. Check amp draw on 10 KW heat strips. 21.04 amps each. Test thermostat for proper operations. Check outdoor unit. Test run capacitor and contactor. Both coils are clean at this time. Changed out filter client Supply. System operating at manufacturer specs at this time.
Blower, ignitor, flame sensors all checked. Airflow condensate drain line pitch and registers are alla concern. Thermostat should be upgraded and attic should be installed given the thermostat placement. Can confirm heat is running at this time

No carbon monoxide or gas leak detected in home. Tightened all wire connections. Tested thermostats for proper operations. Systems operating at manufacturer specs at this time.
Both systems working properly in heat mode at this time. The upstairs system is 17 years old and is showing 6ppm of carbon monoxide. I would recommend replacing this system. I would also recommend adding surge protection to the downstairs system.
Arrived to find system shutting down due to bad flame sensor and dirty filter. Filte is an outdated electronic one with pre-filter that is an odd size so ill send some info and an estimate for possible replacements. Flame sensor was changed and all other components were checked. System is a zoned carrier with infinity touch thermostat which makes it difficult to change blower speed but high static due to lack of bypass is also a possible issue. Can confirm heat is running at this time but we need to monitor due to airflow issues.
Main system has burnt connections to control board. When system calls for second stage he blower changes speed but the gas valve doesnâ€™t go into hi. Also the blower motor is pulling high amps and showing signs of failure. Most of the duct work is in pretty bad shape and duct board mixing boxes are bleeding air into attic space attracting rodents and making the system inefficient. I would recommend replacing the AC side of all of these systems since they are past their life expectancy and are R22 refrigerant, and I would recommend replacing all ductwork for a more efficient system.

CLEANED THE FLAME SENSOR AND INSPECTED HEAT EXCHANGERS - CHECKED FOR CO - CHECKED ALL THE SAFETY SWITCHES AND TIGHTENED ALL THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS - THE FILTER IS STILL IN GOOD SHAPE - THE SYSTEM IS WORKING PROPERLY ON HEAT MODE AT THIS MOMENT - TECH REC: MAINTENANCE RENEWAL

A low voltage wire nut was not tight enough for the common. Tightening system came on and operating properly at this time.

Best thermostat for proper operation. Tightened all wire connections. Check heat exchanger for cracks found none. No carbon monoxide a gas leak detected in home. Found two boots that need to be replaced. And the other boots need to be sealed. Leaving quote for that. System is operating at manufacturer specs at this time.
System was connected to a surge protector that turned unit off. Recommendation is to unplug it and plug straight into the outlet because surge protector had 3 or 4 things plugged into it in addition to the unit.
Walked customer thru his airflow and took Temps from all the registers. Due to ductwork layout and lack of dividers hell.have to play around with his registers to get the static pressure just right. High temp was 115 and low was 95 so he has enough heat, just needs to distribute it. Can confirm firm heat is running at this time.
Attempted to hook up stat for IT room with new remote sensor. The remote sensor required more wires than what was available. We will be back on Monday to do the maintenance here and I will run new wire to the it room and locate thermostat there
