Craig arrived and started his process of eliminating why the compressor was not turning on. In about an hour, the problem was solved and repaired. The unit started up and cooled the house rapidly. I spoke with Craig throughout the process and he explained the steps to identify and repair the non-functioning unit. He was very thorough and methodical in finding the problem and doing the repair. 2020 trane gas furnace maintenance, filter was changed by homeowner, cleared pressure tube, amps on blower motor and inducer motor are within range, cycled unit to ensure proper function. Flame sensor and HS igniter showing signs of wear, unit heating at this time. Possible duct cleaning in the future.
Performed a maintenance on a brand new systems. Checked amperage, voltage, checked for leaks, checked flame sensor and igniter and pressure switches. System is heating properly.
No cool, found bad capacitor, fan was spinning in reverse, and comp wasn't running, changed out 45/10 cap, homeowner also complained of bad airflow to master, changed 1 inch filter to a 4 inch, seemed to help, waiting a few days to make sure it worked, homeowners will do maintenance in a few weeks
Completed with heat 3 2015 upstairs ac combo 2.5 ton with 20 year old upflow furnace in attic, 3 ton master bedroom 2019 gas horizontal in attic and 2.5 ton 2018 downstairs. Found upstairs 2.5 ton not heating due to a bad circuit board and pressure switch, also rollout switches showing wear, blower motor has oil stains and heat exchanger has corroded spots. Giving customer the option to do all preventative repairs, minimum repairs or furnace upgrade. Customer wants to replace furnace but need to talk to wife before making any decision.

Completed with no cool on a 2019 trane air handler r22 horizontal in attic, found bad blower motor. Unit is under parts warranty only.
One time maintenance 2016 system, changed filter, washed unit off, checked refrigerant pressures, they are good, amps on blower motor are good, verified amps on compressor and condenser fan motor were good as well, unit cooling at this time.

Dispatched to investigate concerns, Carol was having about her system. The maintenance was just performed yesterday. I verified the primary drain is clear and flowing at this time. Filter is new. Check the charge and the refrigerant is 100%. I recalibrated the thermostat. It was actually reading 4° warmer than what it actually was in the house. I advise Carol that it would take at least an hour to meet the demand that she is requesting at this time. Otherwise system is operating at manufacturer specs at this time.
