I found Sam to be extremely professional and very experienced in his field.
Justin did a great job explaining everything so I could understand. Can tell he is the type of person who shoots straight with you. He comes across immediately as a humble person who is trustworthy and honest. A breath of fresh air when dealing with people with in the AC repair industry. Apon arrival checked in with customer the following are my findings Found
1 system checkup on American standard heat pump. Indoor and outdoor units checked and system pressures along either air temps were given to customers. Only issue found were with the drain lines and can be seen in attached pictures. It runs uphill under the thr unit so it will never drain correctly until addressed. Quote attached. Can confirm ac is running st this time.
Arrived to find the ac not running but getting 24 volts. Hot side of contactor was jumped and unit started but fan didn't come on. Voltage was tested and fanneas plugged back in and started. Due to time constraints because customer needed to leave by 5 plug was bypassed cusofmer was made aware that we'd order the fan just in case but more time was needed to do thorough diagnostic. They weren't happy because the time slot given was 10-2 and I arrived at 430. As a courtesy, leaves were cleared from the condensor and it was washed. Customer declined maintenance but it's strongly recommended because the system has issues that need to be addressed. Can confirm ac is running but since customers weren't home after bypass was done not 100 sure. Will leave estimate for fan motor replacement attached to the call in case if an issue later on.
Upon arrival checked in with the customer the following are my findings Found TXV closed shut as well as significant damage done to compressor Customers like quotes for a new system on Monday or Tuesday will give us a phone call back for her time frame
Customer has a leak that they are aware of but were not aware it was 5 lbs low and cost of r22. They want to call around about r22 prices for now .
Estimate / 2nd opinion . Didnt like the last company or there numbers and just needs to run it by wife and will call this afternoon . Downstairs unit is down and hoping to get on schedule for Saturday or if not then monday . Downstairs system -4 ton horizontal gas lennox .
1 system checkup on carrier unit. Inside and outside unit checked and only issues found were with the contactor, Drain lines going uphill, ductwork and unit missing the hard start kit. All recommendations and issues were discussed with customer. Can confirm ac is running at this time.
Found 24 v wires to condenser frayed and cut/bit apart by what seems to have been an animal . I suggested that after his daughter's wedding weekend that he have us come out and put conduit around all his low volt wires outside to prevent this from happening again.
Arrived to find system not cooling due to outside not running. Upon checking found the inverter drive is bad. Will get with Chris on contacting trane.
Going to reschedule and call us back to come install the filters when she gets them in. The house is for sell when we return she would like 2 float switches and 2 gas traps so the house will pass inspection.
Apon arrival checked in with customer the following are my findings downstairs Has a compressor that is out of range on for the low stage also a Blower motor amping out high please see pictures attached inform customer about his options he is currently about to go on a vacation we'll get back to us with his decision shortly
One system maintenance on trane unit climate care customer. Indoor and outdoor units checked blowers extremely dirty so as the coil duct work is an issue as well. Unit is a 4 ton system but only has 3 taps coming out of it that all go to incorrectly done sub plenums all of which was explained to the customer. Customer also has incorrect registers and sizes along with correct type was given to him as well. He stated he hasnt had maintenance done and has only had 1 400 repair that's been done since 95. IAQ options and prices were given as well along with pressures which were in range. Outside unit was washed and has a failing contactor that shows signs of heavy pitting.. Customer will get his own filter and call for us to change it at a later date. Can confirm system is cooling but has a ton of problems that should be addressed. Customer stated when it fails he will fix it at that time.
Completed ac maintenance on both systems. Found Downstairs system with a coil freezing up from evap coil leak as well as multiple air leaks and condensation draining only from secondary and blower overheating due to buildup (30 year old ) . Presented options but customer wants to see if home warranty will help .
Replaced dom t sensor (warranty part)
Upon arrival checking with customer the following are my findings found the outside unit Check port leaking as well as the system low on refrigerant charge repaired both systems working properly at this time please see pictures attached to customer it also like quotes for raising Condenser pads we'll will send those over shortly House has 20 Degree split at this time
