Josh did a great job and was very helpful in explaining everything.
Josh did an excellent job. He spent time to identify the problem with and aging AC and corrected it. He is very professional and positive in his interactions.
Jason did a great job on the service call. He was very detailed and thorough in his analysis and took the time to explain the issue and provide recommendations on how we can keep the house cooler during these summer months in TX. Will continue to go with AC Pros for all our HVAC needs. Thank you Jason and team!
I’m not complaining. I have no idea what he did because he did not tell me what he did. There was absolutely zero communication except when he introduced himself and when he said I’m done. Oh, there was the question that he asked “what do you want me to do with this filter”? I told him that they always take the filter. How many years have I been with this company? Never once has the technician not taken the filter. But when I told him that, he looked at me like I had three heads. He said, they don’t have a pick up truck like I do. That made no sense to me. Next time, please send me a different technician. Thank you.
Arrived to no cool, found coil frozen, thawed out and changed filter, let unit run and pressures were good, unit is cooling at this time.
Came out for leaking concern at ducts. Owners said at one point in time there was an additional duct but customers complained about it being too cold so they had the duct removed. This is cause too much static pressure and water is accumulated inside the duct. Customer is supposed to get with the contactor that did the work so we can see what sized duct was there prior before we can give an accurate price. Also customer is wanting a serious quote to replace blower motor and housing
Dispatched to investigate a no cool. Condenser was installed last month. Evaporator was installed two years ago. Upon arrival system was frozen up. After checking the pressures, I went to the attic to check the fan speed. Air handler was not set accordingly to the cooling stage. After cycling and adjusting dip switches pressures came up like they were supposed to be. System is operating at manufacturer specs at this time.
Did maintenance on three units. Indoor unit: Checked blower motor amperage, checked filter, checked, capacitors, ductwork, checked Delta T, check out insulation. Outdoor unit: Checked capacitor, checked, contactor, checked, condensing fan motor, checked compressor, checked pressures, checked all electrical, cleaned outdoor coils. Recommendations- Upgrade and add add ins, replace attic fan, add UV light to system, replace capacitor on master bedroom Air handler
Came out for no cool. Found system low on refrigerant. Told customer he would need to do a leak search to determine what is leaking. System is still down.
Came out for cooling maintenance for two systems. Both are cooling efficiently with no issues
Came out for no cool. Compressor is mechanically locked up and needs to be replaced. Compressor is covered under parts warranty. There is a labor charge.
Customer called about system not cooling properly. I noticed that the suction line and compressor completely frozen. Customer just changed out dirty filter after the unit froze. I told him to call us back once the compressor thaws. I tested low voltage at the furnace and 24V isthere for all low voltage. Collected $95 Diag Fee.
2 floor unit that controls bedroom and art studio area was not cooling due to the condenser fan motor finally seizing up. Unable to remove the blade from the motor. Installed new condenser fan motor, fan blade and 10 mfd run capacitor. System began to cool after repairs.
Ac1 maintenance- performed maintenance on one Outdoor unit and one indoor unit. Indoor unit: checked blower motor, checked coil, checked all electrical connections, checked filter ( recommended replacement), cleared condensation line, checked float switch, and checked delta t Outdoor unit: checked capacitor, checked contractor, checked all electrical connections, checked fan motor, checked compressor, cleaned outdoor coils, checked pressures. Unit looked good. Would recommend replacing unit with a 4 ton unit at the current unit is undersized for the sqft of the home
5 system maintenance, units are cooling at this time. Drain pans are dry, lines are clear, coils are clean, found 2 units where the fan motors are over amping, and capacitors are out of range. Units are out of warranty. Recommendations are In estimates and wrote them out. Rest of findings are in report.
Got info from RTU leaving estimate for replacement
Dispatched for investigation to a primary drain line clog. Arrived to find downstairs flowing properly, but the upstairs had a clog. In order to clear the drain with nitrogen I had to install a quick blast on the downstairs unit. Upstairs drains down to the downstairs, drain hub and tease in with downstairs. Drain treatment and hot water. System seems to be draining properly at this time.
REROUTE THE DRAIN LINE Need to re work drain line and pick up and level coil on the upstairs system. Current drain line is bowing and get clogged often. Paul replaced the drain pan, the primary just needs to be re worked.
They resolved issue, turned breaker on and off, customer will reach out at later date to schedule further analysis
