Preston was extremely creative in resolving a thermostat placement issue that two other technicians said was insolvable.

Dispatched to investigate indoor air quality. The air advice that we used to monitor and record indoor air quality is closed today so we cannot get the results back today. We will open them tomorrow and send them over to the client for further evaluation. No charge until we find the results out.
Arrived to no cool, blower wheel was squealing, also unit was frozen, leak in coil, customer has had unit topped off twice this month, disconnect also sparking. Recommend replacing unit. Other unit compressor would loudly start and and stop right away. Disconnect was off when I arrived, 2006 unit, out of warranty, gave option to replace compressor and replace unit. Left fan running only on frozen unit, to help defrost over the weekend.
Clogged drain line, hallway, blew it out both ways, system is cooling as of now
Completed with ac 2 on 2016 and 2018 trane our install gas upflow in closet 3.5 ton and 5. Both units heating properly at this time of check up.
Completed with ac 1 on a 2020 trane gas upflow in closet our install, unit operating great at this time of check up. Primary drain line draining fine at this time.
Diagnosed system to have a faulty thermostat. Train 824 Wi-Fi was sending voltage to the outdoor unit at all times. I had a previously loved thermostat on my truck that Paula is fine with adjusted charge to 10° subcool.
Dispatched for a blank thermostat. Arrived and diagnosed the circuit board to be faulty. 120 V is coming into the board, but it is not powering the necessary components. I will be back tomorrow with the circuit board and return register and check the system over.
Came out for a noise concern. Ran the system and sound never reproduced itself. Customer showed me a video of compressor making a loud noise. Gauged up to the system appears to be low on refrigerant but the is also not enough air at the return for the upflow furnace. The return sounds like a jet indicating there is not enough return airflow. Can't really determine if the system charge is accurate until the airflow issue is addressed. Customers concern is why was this not addressed when she was sold the system which is 10 months old or less. I'm turning this over to Chris to see how he wants to address the issue. Need to get back with this customer by monday.
Completed with thermostat in our install 2023 under pnl warranty, found short on low voltage wire making 5 amp fuse go out and turning off thermostat. Fixed wire and replace fuse. Unit cooling and heating at this time.
Call back for thermostat placement. Upon arrival the homeowner stated that a previous technician moved the thermostat because the wiring was bad. The homeowner however did not like where the thermostat was moved to so a new wire was ran back to the original location and the thermostat was moved. The thermostat was then tested and is functioning properly at this time.
Completed fall maintenance visit Only recommendation is continual maintenance please see pictures attached and estimate change customers filter customer also had one size two smaller filter informed him will purchase right filters next time customer also indicated he would like the thermostat moved you feed over to the right told him how to get back to him with an update from my manager to see what can be done
On arrival found the drain line working as designed. There is no water dripping outside and no water in the emergency drain pan. Customer will monitor. See pictures.
Spoke over the phone and the drain line is at the point where replacement is needed. Left pricing over the phone .
Preformed the spring maintenance on the system. Found all checks to be within system specifications. Found the primary drain clogged with potential back pressure. Cleared drain line today and system is working at this time. See pictures.
