Sam quoted $1400 to replace a mother board and if the A/C still didn’t work he would have to replace several other items for a total cost of $3700. I called another technician and he replaced a blown fuse and A/C is now working fine.

Came out found outdoor unit in a lock down mode because communication was lost to the drive. Reset power to the outdoor unit system came on. Checked integrity of wiring and found no issues with wiring.
Completed with ac 1 on a 2021 Goodman 3.5 ton heat pump horizontal in attic. U it cooling properly at this time of check up. Gave the option to add air purifier for better air quality along with duct cleaning and adding a compressor saver. Customer is not interested on anything at this time
AC performance tuneup times one system. Inspect blower, evaporator and ductwork. Changed out filter. Client supplied. Check outdoor unit. Refrigerant level is good at this time. Washed condenser coil. System is operating at manufacturer specs at this time. No recommendations at this time.
Completed with ac 1 on a 2023 our install under pnl, 4 ton heat pump upflow in closet. Unit cooling properly at this time of check up. Recommended duct cleaning for better air quality. Customer will wait.

Performed ac maintenance on one single stage 2007 15seer 3ton heat pump. Drains are clear. Indoor motor drawing proper amps. Noticed visible oil stains on evaporator coil(indoor). Outdoor condenser fan motor bearings are wearing out. Motor making unusual noise. Left homeowner options to repair or upgrade system. Leaving system as is today.
Completed with no cool on 2014 trane downstairs our install, found chewed outside wire by rodents. Fixed wire. Unit cooling properly now.
Dispatched myself to a no cool single system home. Arrived to find system running but low on refrigerant. there is a visible oil and refrigerant leak inside the condenser coil. I Added 3 pounds of R 410 A to get system cooling properly. Larry showed me documentation of the condenser coil and system being under warranty, but no labor warranty . I am waving the cost of refrigerant and charging a diagnostic for tonight. Customer would like it to be done 3/1/2024
Dispatched for a no call. System home. Arrived to find system running. It is a 1996 model. The fan capacitor was faulty and causing the motor to overheat. Removed and replaced with turbo 200. Added 1 pound of R 22. Spoke with Randy about possible replacements. we will honor today’s invoice as a down payment if he chooses to change out within 30 days of today.
Dispatched for a no emergency heat on new heat pump. I ran the system for 15 minutes and AC and verified that the second stage cooling was charged properly. Also engaged compressor heat and temperature quickly rose to 77° in the home. I cycled the defrost mode And found no problems. We will need to bring an 824 thermostat on his April 29 maintenance visit. And program it accordingly.
Completed with heat and ac, 19 year old trane gas horizontal in attic with a 2017 2 stage trane condenser 5 ton. Unit heating and cooling at this time of check up. Furnace heat exchanger showing wear, along with inducer motor, flame sensor and ignitor, condenser fan motor is leaking oil with weak capacitor and filter is getting dusty. Gave the option to do all preventive repairs, minimum repairs, furnace upgrade or complete. Customer wants to wait for now.
Dispatched for a no heat single system home. Arrived and spoke with Gary and Kathy about the issues they were having. Fan inside the air handler was defective. I ordered and went and picked up a new blower motor and module. Check the refrigerant charge in the AC mode and added 1 lb of r410a. I am leaving estimates for new equipment since the existing equipment is 17 years old and is a heat pump.
