Completed with estimate to replace a 5 ton complete gas horizontal in attic. Left estimates with customer. Customer not ready to make a decision untill talking with wie.

Me. Heatherington misread the thermostat. Reads carbon dioxide, not carbon monoxide. The smell was the oxidation from the solace air we installed it was set to the highest setting so when the unit turned on, she got a blast of that. Turned the knob down to low.
Dispatch for no cool single system home. Blower motor had failed on the furnace. Went to train in Garland and picked up new motor. Installed and system is cooling properly at this time. I advised Stephan to leave the temperature turned up to allow the coil to defrost completely. Fan is in the on position.
Completed with ac 1 on a 2022 trane heat pump upflow in closet 3.5 ton, unit cooling properly at this time of check up.
Upon inspection found system was working properly but homeowners mentioned a excessive amount of condensate from unit advised that we will return on a warmer day to balance charge as it is overcast and temps are not proper for charging.
Completed with ac 2 on 2021 and 2010 trane gas horizontal in attic, both cooling at this time or check up. 2010 compressor start up amps are high and fan motor showing wear. Giving the option to do preventative repairs, condenser upgrade or complete. Customer wants to wait.

AC performance tuneup Times two systems. For the last couple of years clients have known about the upstairs going bad. Gretchen decided to install two brand new systems in the home. They will be installed on Friday. She put half down today. 14,$692. The remaining balance will be collected on Friday.
Came out for cooling maintenance for two systems. Both systems are cooling but not efficient due to inadequate ductwork on supply side. Super heat for 4 ton was 24 degrees and 10 degree subcool. 2 ton had a 21 degree superheated and 6degree subcool. Explained to the customer significance of the airflow and how it effects the charge
AC performance tuneup times two systems. Changed out filters. Client supplied. Inspect blower, evaporator and ductwork. Check thermostats for proper operations. Check outdoor units. Upstairs system is 20 years old. The refrigerant is R 22. It is not low at this time, but it is running a Higher amp draw because of its age. I am leaving estimates for replacement for the upstairs unit.

Found compressor from 2012 start up amps very high with a pitted contactot and capacitor showing wear. Ducts ar dusty. Giving the option To do all preventative repairs, minimum repairs or complete upgrade for 2012. Customer not ready to do anything at this time.
