Water leak call on newly installed evaporator coil, coil is slightly tilted backwards causing water to back up in pan and eventually into supply plenum Need to come back and level coil and replace supply plenum also bring 2 buckets to catch the water.
Arrived not cooling efficiently, found coil frozen all the way to the compressor, have to let unit thaw over night and come tomorrow to do leak search. Filter was a little dirty but probably not the cause for the coul to freeze
Came to second opinion for leak, found system low on pressure and evap coil starting to ice up, recommended changing, Homeowners are goimg to replace coil, paid with server finance.
Completed with ac 2 on 2002 Amana gas horizontal in attic, 2 and 4 ton . 4 ton is struggling to keep up with temperature set on thermostat. Found compressor rattling, pulling high with a weak capacitor and slightly low on refrigerant, 2 ton has a capacitor over reading and pulling high . Both filters need to be replace but customer doesn't have any right now. Giving customer the option to do all preventative repairs, minimum repairs or complete units upgrade. Customer needs to talk to wife before making any decision.
Completed with no cool on a 1999 trane 4 ton gas upflow in closet r22, found bad capacitor, after installing a new capacitor, found unit slightly low on r22 refrigerant and fan motor shaking showing wear. Due to age and un able to do all preventative repairs, replacement is recommended. Customer wants unit to keep running till he gets the money to replace unit. Replaced capacitor only at this time. Unit colling at this time.

Customer complained about both systems not cooling properly. Downstairs system has been down a couple of days. Upstairs is struggling due to TXV aging and coil rusting. Did a maintenance on Upstairs, system is Overchargedand struggling with a 15 degree Delta. I recommended replacement of both 2007 systems
