Customer complained about both systems not cooling properly. Downstairs system has been down a couple of days. Upstairs is struggling due to TXV aging and coil rusting. Did a maintenance on Upstairs, system is Overchargedand struggling with a 15 degree Delta. I recommended replacement of both 2007 systems
Came out for cooling maintenance for one system. After thoroughly checking the system found that system is cooling efficiently.
Leveled up air handler, so that water would shed away away
Dispatched for a no cool upstairs. Newer Lennox I comfort thermostat is defective. We will order S 30 thermostat on Monday and return to install
Came out for condensation on supply grill. There was some excess heat seeping out of the exhaust which is right by supply vent. I lowered fan speeds slightly and checked the charge condenser coil was a little dirty. Washed it down subcool got down to 8. Temp in between exhaust and grill was 75 degrees after the changes it was reading 65 degrees

Arrived to call back, cleared code 29, checked system out, could not duplicate error, reset tstat, unit is cooling as of now.
For this job we maintenanced the furnace and condenser unit. Changed filter, cleaned outdoor coils, checked Compacitor, and checked refrigerant levels.
Checked system. Showing error code 29 meaning over temperature protection. Indoor temp rose above 90 degrees during a cooling / heating cycle. Cleared fault to see how the system would operate. System cooling fine, unable to duplicate any problems today. Both systems are cooling. Rinsed both off with water. Maintenance membership covered for fall 2024 and spring 2025
Arrived to do maintenance, changed filter ,was dirty amps on blower motor are good at this time, drain pan is dry, good drainage, went to outdoor unit, pressures are good for temp outside, capacitor is within range at this time, amps on compressor and fan are good at this time as well, unit is cooling at this time Recommended uv kit
Came out for no cool found system significantly low on refrigerant. Also as low as the charge was the Amp draw at the compressor is significantly high indicator of potential compressor failure. I gave a couple of options for replacement. Customer recently replaced up stairs system and for Customer appreciation I would be able to give the two stage system and the ductwork modifications to the customer at 18,900 dollars. Thank you
Completed with ac 2 on 2021 and 2018 trane gas horizontal in attic our install. Both cooling properly at this time of check up.
