Performed a 2 system maintenance on 2 1 year old systems. Both systems are sealed well, ductwork is good, Drains are good. The downstairs system was frozen inside at the suction line and coil. I left with the system still thawing. I couldn’t get a read on the gauges for the downstairs system because of the frozen coil. I cleaned condensers tested amperage and MFD. everything is good except for the frozen coil. I believe it’s due to dirty filters that were changed right before I arrived. The upstairs system now has a 18 degree split and I added 2 lbs of R410A. I told the customer to wait a few more hours until the coil thaws and then we can see if the system cools properly.
Completed diagnostic on whole system. Installed 80 microfared Turbo run capacitor and 5 ton hard start assist. Checked coolant levels ok. Also system is 17 years old, well past life expectancy. Recommended replacing system soon. But at this time everything working fine.
Installed 3 inch check valve‘s for the vent pipe and restroom area. Advised client to try some door sweeps in order to stabilize room temperatures away from the main unit.
Mr. Kuncheria is concerned about the way that the secondary zones temperature rises when they are off. This is only happening in the heat mode the cool mode does not seem to be affected. I will email tech support and find out what I can
Zone system was out of sync with the thermostats. Made necessary changes to have all three zones operating properly. We will need to return with 35 to 40 feet of 4 inch vent pipe miscellaneous tease and 90s. This was done on the install incorrectly three years ago.
Arrived to find customer complaining about access air getting to master and other side of the house room. Lower fan speed and changed airflow capacity down a bit customer is also complaining about ERV not properly installed correctly need to have installers re route 6 inch runs no charge it’s under system warranty
