Dispatched for a no heat, single system home. Arrived to find system running. Spoke with Bill and he said on the cold morning a couple days ago it was not working. I ran it through a series of test and found no issues at this time. Advise Bill to monitor it and let us know how it works.

Replaced burnt transformer. Appeared burnt on the high voltage side. Confirmed no low voltage shorts. System began to cool after replacing the transformer. Let Rick know to see about putting conduit on low volt wire outside but as of tonight, wires are not shorted.

Preformed system checked on up and Downstairs system both units are in need of a filter change. The upstairs system condenser fan motor locked up causing the compressor to overheat and no cooling to occur, this also over worked the Downstairs as its return is also upstairs. Had to go to trane to get the cfm. Replacement went smoothly but the compressor was still out on thermal overload, after running water over it to cool it off the system began to run normally. I couldn't get super accurate refrigerant readings dur to dirty filters, the upstairs return air being over 80 degrees, and the outside unit being soaked with water. Though the temperature split was 16 degrees difference between return and supply air. So the customer will continue to monitor system performance At this time found no issues with system performance.

I was Dispatched to perform a One-Time Maintenance and to remove a Bulb from the Return. The Bulb is a Horn for an Alarm System. It is situated in the Return so the Horn will travel throughout the House through the Ductwork. I cleaned and serviced the System and checked System Operation. Everything appears to be functioning as expected. At this time. The Customer states he would settle up with the Office.
