Checked fan guards for hail damage. One had noticeable damage (smaller unit) the other did not.
Came out for concern about weather guards for York and Lennox condensers. They do not make them for either brand. Tried to reach back out to customer to inform him but got no answer
Condenser coil was clogged for upstairs system I believe with the condenser coil being clogged with dirt and debris and the roofing contractor placing a cover above the condenser unit while they were changing out the roof caused the high-pressure switch to open. It is a Lennox that has a manual button to depress inside the condenser washed off condenser coils and closed. The pressure switch system is now cooling. Performed peace of mind visit. Replaced air filter that homeowner provided me. System is cooling great.
Completed with no cool on upstairs 2 ton gas horizontal in attic Lennox 2012, found unit very low on 410A, downstairs primary drain line was clogged. Gave customer all the option. Customer requested pring for replacement. Steve will let me know when he is ready to move forward on unit replacement. Today only flushed primary drain line.
Performed ac maintenance. Inside equipment in good shape. Sl280 furnace operating fine. Replaced air filter. Evap coil was replaced in within the last 24 months. Outdoor unit is an Lennox Merritt 4 ton 14 seer. Still operating today, it’s about 13 years old. 70+10mfd capacitor within its tolerance. Washed condenser coil with water
Came out for cooling maintenance for two systems. Both systems are cooling inefficiently with no issues accidentally charged customer an additional 95 cents
Dispatched for a no heat, single system home. Arrived to find system running. Spoke with Bill and he said on the cold morning a couple days ago it was not working. I ran it through a series of test and found no issues at this time. Advise Bill to monitor it and let us know how it works.
2 systems coil cleaning removed fan motor housing and clean interior and exterior coil and tested system operation. Performed one system heating maintenance. 2011 Lennox 90% condensing furnace. Drainline was clear. Evap coil replaced this year as homeowner moved in September. Examined electrical and heating sections of the furnace. No issues to report. Furnace operating and draining properly. Replaced 20x25x4 filter for homeowner. 2 more left in the attic.
