Service here in March showed the service code still from the October service where was told a sensor was giving bad readings and needed to be replaced. Part never got ordered and Craig said he reset it and it didn’t need to be replaced. Did a very basic check, didn’t find any issues. The last several Technicians had gone above and beyond to do a thorough check, explaining everything they were doing and offering service tips to help the system run smooth. Disappointed today. When I checked the system after Craig had left the error was showing.

Installers did not make safety a priority. Installers do not use finesses when working in IT rooms. Installers for the same company but different trades do not talk with one another. Does not reflect well on vendor company. Some guys were better to interact with professionally others not so much.

I’ve done to expect “above and beyond” service with AC Pros and this was no exception. Mr. Schmitt checked over our whole system, explaining what he was looking for and why. Helped figure out a couple of minor issues and ordered a preventative maintenance part. Came out for service call. Upstairs system the compressor is locking up mechanically. I got the compressor to start once and system also is extremely low on refrigerant. I recommended full replacement of 2.5 ton system. Downstairs system is low on refrigerant. Did a quick search and the coil for Downstairs system is leaking at evap coil.
System installed lasted year cooling great.
Same problem from last time we came out, door switch was not all way engaging and unit was not on. Put a big piece of type and fixed issue. Unit cooling and working now.
Completed with ac 1 on a 2015 Goodman gas horizontal in attic 4 ton. Unit cooling properly at this time of check up. Found very dusty ducts. Giving the option to do a duct cleaning for better air quality. Customer is not interested
Came out for cooling maintenance. Found system performance satisfactory. System has variable speed compressor 3ton. Asked customer about his utilities after replacing the system he said it was about the same with his old unit. I asked customer to monitor his utilities this summer. There is only one return I don't think it's adequate for the system.
Came out for 2 system tuneup. Rheem 2.5 ton system checks out great. 5 ton system is 700 cfms short on return air. There is already a 18 inch duct in place which allows 1300cfm 5ton system needs an additional 14 inch duct to make it perfect. This potentially endangering the metering device and compressor also the blower motor
Completed with ac 2 on 2018 carrier gas horizontal in attic, both cooling at this time of check up. Found both weak dual run capacitors. Recommending replacing them and adding 2 compressor savers. Customer approved to replace upstairs capacitor and compressor saver was added.
Completed with no cool on upstairs 2 ton Goodman gas horizontal in attic 2010, found unit with 0 refrigerant pressures, also customer stated that heat wasn't working, found bad pressure switch with failing inducer motor. Evaporator coil very rusted with oil stains. Giving the option to do all repairs needed or complete unit upgrade. Customer is selling home and realtor want to get something better than what I offered.
Performed air conditioning maintenance for two 3 years old Goodman systems. Ductwork and indoor equipment in good shape. Outdoor units were rinsed with water only. Capacitors and amp draws were within manufacture specs. Systems both had a 22 degree cooling split.
Estimates were given for Lennox and condenser combo. Elite and merit lines. Mrs. Shaw insisted on keeping the the single stage furnace since it is only 1 year old. Limited to single stage cooling equipment. No decision today.
Completed with no heat on a 2012 carrier gas horizontal in attic 5 ton, found failing blower motor with inducer motor pulling high along with flame sensor showing wear and there is not float switch with rusted drain pan. Gave the option to do all preventative repairs, minimum repairs, furnace upgrade or complete. Customer is not interested at this point and will wait.
Completed the spring maintenance for the system. System is properly as designed.
Found the door switch to not be engaged, re engaged door switch and system is working at this time.
Performed heat maintenance on two Armstrong air 2017 single stage furnaces. Clean flame sensors. Removed the dirty air filters and gave homeowner the size so he can install some new 4” filters asap. Checked coils, no leaks. 8 degree subcool. Made recommendations for condenser repairs and float switch install. Did the start assist kits today, as well as the upstairs capacitor. Will do float switch later this year. Systems heating and cooling properly.
