I was very pleased with the service & the expertise of the tech.
Jason was very professional and knowledgeable. Service was effective and expedient. Thanks AC Pros!
Having problems with a pesky drain line. Joel cleared the line and adjusted the condensation sensor.
And finally got rid of the blockage in the condensate line!
I am under contract to buy a house. The HVAC was very concerning and I needed a fast, professional assessment on very short notice in order to make a decision to go thru with the deal. AC Pros worked with me to get a technician out quickly. Rafael showed up and provided a thorough assessment and outlined all the options including price estimates. Super job!!!
Craig was able to quickly solve our A/C issue. Only one concern - we have a fairly new system (2yrs old) we bought from A/C Pros. When we bought the system, we paid for 5 years of maintenance, however, our issue I would technically consider part of routine maintenance. We paid for the service call to get our system operational again. Not sure I should have been charged. Office will get a call from me following the weekend.
Ray and other technician were excellent telling me what they were doing and helped me understand the zero percent loan IF paid within 18 months
Mr. Rafael Mejia arrived on time as scheduled. My home was having a problem with the A/C primary drain line being clogged. Mr. Mejia informed me he would first do an inspection of the area in question and then inform me of his findings. After finding what the problem was, Mr. Mejia explained to me how he would make the repairs. He returned shortly afterwards, and my home Air Conditioning System was working perfectly again. Very prompt and efficient. Thank you AC Pros!
2016 heat pump maintenance, filter clean, amps on blower are good, temp split is 19, there is growth on door panel and blower housing, recommended uv kit, no overflow protection, recommended float switch. Pressures are good, amps are good on fan and compressor. Homeowner decided to hold off on doing any repairs or upgrades at this time.
Replaced tstat, fan still stayed on, checked all wiring, fan still on with tstat off the face plate, disconnected green wire in air handler, fan still running, pulled fuse, fan stopped, found board had burn marks, also found bad contactor in heat mode, very loud. Going to come back Monday or Tuesday to change out.
Misc, homeowner called a few weeks ago and mentioned temp was not keeping up sometimes, as of today pressures look good, but told her system is not working as hard so it's hard to say . SC was 8.8 Homeowner is holding off on membership at this time.
Customer called and said that master bedroom is lacking airflow. It’s a 1 stage Air Handler with a duct acting as a plenum. I believe the best solution is to increase duct and boot and grille sizes. They are 7 inch ducts on 10x8 Grilles. Also adding dampers to mixing box. Left customer an estimate with her father since she was at work.
No cool call, found tstat wire had vibrated loose, re connected and unit is up and cooling.
installed a 3 ton complete Trane straight electric horizontal in attic and adding an additional 14 inch return.
Dispatch to investigate a no cool single system home. On arrival system was running. Client stated the breaker was tripped at some point in time yesterday. I noticed that the ground was wet around the condenser. I ask if they clean the condenser coil yesterday and he stated yes. I believe the condenser coil being blocked was the culprit. Verified capacitor And refrigerant charge was good. Only a diagnostic charge today.
Completed with water leak on downstairs trane 2022 trane heat pump up flow in closet upstairs. Found primary draining slow with a faulty secondary float switch. Giving the option to flush primary drain line and add 2 float switches. Flushed primary drain line and replace float on main downstairs. Unit cooling properly and draining at this time.
Completed with no cool on a 2011 carrier straight electric horizontal in attic 3 ton, found bad dual run capacitor, after installing new capacitor found unit low on refrigerant, found evaporator coil leaking with fan motor over heating, pitted contactor and short on return. Giving customer the option to do all preventative repairs, minimum repairs or complete unit upgrade. Customer is ready to move forward on replacing complete unit We will be installing a 3 ton complete trane straight electric horizontal in attic and adding an additional 14 inch return. Customer already got approved for financing at 0% for 14 months. This will get done on 08/22/2024
No cool call, found system empty, leak in coil, Homeowners decided just to replace system with 2.5 ton trane xr 15 gas furnace. Will install Monday afternoon, 14000.00, will pay with credit card after install. Colors 6,6,6,10,14.
Removed 24 V to dampers to keep dampers Open all the time per residence request.
Green algae under the condenser was not washed off during the maintenance. Rinsed off concrete.
Condenser was extremely low on refrigerant. Checked for leaks. Leak detected in evaporator coil. Customer would like replacement asap. Please see pictures for additional information and data tag
Dispatched to investigate a no cool. Arrived to find condenser running. Condenser fan motor was really hot. There was a 10 µF run capacitor for the fan which should've been a 5. Cooled off motor and installed a new five micro run capacitor. System is cooling properly at this time.
Came back to outside unit shutting off, fan motor heats up and goes off on thermal overload which then causes compressor to over heat and shut off, need to reach out to homeowner/landlord to advise and see what they would like to do
