I returned to our clients home due to Not maintaining set point on thermostat. I Immediately proceeded outside and connect my gauges to the unit to measure Freon pressures. I did also place the unit in test mode for second stage cooling. I diagnosed that the unit was slightly overcharged from the previous repair that was made. I began to slowly remove refrigerant from the system and ensure the pressures were within normal manufacture specifications. I proceeded into the attic and measured a 17° temperature drop in second stage. The unit was cooling properly on departure.
