Upon arrival, I found the system operating normally. I began testing components and checking refrigerant pressures. I could not find an issue other than the filter being matted. When I was about to determine it to be a dirty filter, the system shut off on me. I found that the float switch had tripped and the drain was clogged. I got approval from the customer to clear the drain. I flushed it with water and drain cleaner. While I was testing other components, I noticed that the capacitor was needing replacement, and the compressor is starting with high amps. I presented options to address these issues. The customer declined preventative repairs at the time of service.
