Response from Air Force One Plumbing, Heating & Air:
Thank you for your review. Glad we could help!
The service tech explains the process and offers advice. Professional and personable. Easy to work with - no hassles. They hire great people as the previous tech was equally good.
Rick M was great, but our experience with AF1's scheduling was abysmal. We were promised a window of 2 - 5 pm. The tech arrived at 6:40 pm, after we had taken the day off from work to be present for the appointment, for an extremely late service call with no way to contact anybody who could do anything about it. What kind of administration sends a tech from McKinney across rush hour traffic on Friday to South Dallas? I assume the kind that won't hire enough tech staff to carry out calls in a timely manner. Rick was splendid--no criticism of him. Air Force 1 should refrain from selling high ticket AC systems, and then crippling their techs who are trying to serve the public on their behalf. As we see it, the responsibility for quality and service resides at the top of the organization. You failed to earn your Angies' List commendations this time. Give your techs support, hire some more of them with your profits, and provide the service your customers deserve.
We have been very happy with Dale's excellent service and good personality over the years. Thanks Dale!
honest, fast, and direct. didn't try to oversell me but educated me on what was wrong, including how to maintain the system on my own. highly recommend!
Replace Rheem Condenser with new 16 SEER Rheem Condenser

Thermostat was glitchy due to old batteries. Tech ran a line from c on furnace to c on thermostat. Air filter swapped out.
Technician arrived and found signs of arc and burned wires at the dual run capacitor. Capacitor was tested and found to be depleted. New 55+5 capacitor was installed and burned wires were replaced. System is running with cool air at the moment.
Evaporator coil box missing insulation and access door bent not sealing properly. Recommended covering in r8 duct insulation with aluminum tape.
Technician arrived and found that noise was emanating from duct and grille when cooling was called. Technician took static measurements and and made adjustments to fan cooling blower speeds which has eliminated noise. Customer will continue to monitor and call back is noises reappear.
