Performed maintenance on a 25-year-old Bryant Legacy Line AC unit. Despite its age, the unit is still performing well. Replaced the air filter, cleaned the evaporator and condenser coils, and inspected the electrical connections for any signs of wear. Checked refrigerant levels and ensured the thermostat was accurately calibrated. Regular upkeep is crucial for older units to maintain efficiency. Performing an AC tuneup on a Ruud gas furnace AC system. Cleaning coils, checking air filters, checking electrical components, checking electrical charge, and testing overall system performance. No major issues found on system. System was just dirty and needed good cleaning.

Performed installation of a new variable speed blower motor on a WaterFurnace Envision NDW residential geothermal heat pump today. First, disconnected and locked out all electrical power sources to the unit per safety protocols. Removed the existing blower assembly and refrigerant line connections. Installed new Energy Kinetics EKX2.0 variable ECM blower along with matched air coil components. Properly dressed new refrigerant lines and re-established all electrical wiring connections to the control board. Conducted a full system evacuation using a Fieldpiece MR57 recovery machine, pulling deep vacuum and verifying no leaks present. Recharged with factory-specified amount of R-410A refrigerant and ensured proper airflow across coil at varying fan speeds. Geothermal unit is now operating efficiently with the upgraded variable blower.
Completed an A.C. checkout on a 2018 Rheem gas furnace with A.C. I inspected the evaporator coil for cleanliness and checked refrigerant levels using a digital manifold gauge. Tested the blower motor and capacitor for proper operation. Verified the thermostat settings and ensured the condenser unit was free of debris. The system is now operating efficiently.
Addressed a cooling issue on a WaterFurnace geothermal unit caused by a failed blower module. I removed the defective blower module and installed a new OEM replacement. After installation, I tested the blower motor to ensure proper operation. I also checked the refrigerant levels and inspected the heat exchanger for any signs of wear. The geothermal system is now functioning correctly, providing efficient cooling as expected.
