I performed a tune-up on a Trane XR15 AC system. This included cleaning the condenser and evaporator coils, checking refrigerant levels, and adding R-410A as needed. I inspected and lubricated the blower motor, tested the capacitor and contactor for proper operation, and calibrated the thermostat. The system was thoroughly tested to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Performed a cooling inspection on a Trane 2TTB4060A1000AA 4-ton air conditioning system installed in 2004. Checked refrigerant charge by measuring subcooling and superheat values across the system. Subcooling was low at 6°F, indicating an undercharged system. Added 2 lbs of R-22 refrigerant to achieve 12°F subcooling per specifications. Cleaned condenser coils using Nu-Calgon CalClean coil cleaner. Replaced air filters with 20x25x1 MERV 8 pleated filters. Tested all electrical components, safety controls, and condensate drainage. Lubricated fan motors with Supco SPL synthetic lubricant. Verified proper cooling operation and recorded data in service report.

Performed routine preventative maintenance on a 2004 Rheem RPKL-A060JAZ air conditioning system. Cleaned condenser coil fins using a Fin Groom tool and Nu-Calgon CalClean coil cleaner solution. Checked refrigerant charge by measuring subcooling and superheat temperatures, added 9 oz of R-22 to achieve 12°F subcooling. Replaced dual run capacitor with Titan Pro 35/5 MFD unit. Tested all electrical components, contactors, and safety controls. Lubricated bearings on condenser fan and blower motors using Supco SPL synthetic lubricant. Installed new 20x25x1 MERV 8 pleated air filters. Verified proper cooling operation and ample airflow across evaporator coil.

I repaired a Gibson AC unit that was not cooling due to a low voltage short at the outdoor unit. I traced the short to a damaged wire, replaced the faulty wiring, and secured all connections. I then tested the voltage to ensure proper operation. The system is now cooling efficiently and operating correctly.

Installed a Carrier 25HBC5 two-zone ductless mini-split air conditioning system in a residential home. Mounted the outdoor condensing unit on a concrete pad using Rubber-A-Mounts for vibration isolation. Ran two separate linesets of 3/8" liquid and 5/8" suction lines through exterior walls using LineSet Cover line hide. Installed two 9k BTU wall-mounted indoor air handlers in the living room and master bedroom. Evacuated the system to 500 microns using a Fieldpiece EVAC4WAY vacuum pump. Charged each zone with 24oz of R-410A refrigerant per manufacturer's specifications. Programmed the Carrier Infinity System zoning control board for optimal comfort and efficiency.
