Excellent customer service from Jonathan. He was polite, friendly, and professional in all matters. Good representative for Ambient and Home Depot.
On time, friendly, efficient...explained findings, made recommendations...was able to carry out necessary repairs. Our only complaint lies not with Our serviceman but in the company's inability to give us an appointment with a designated time window until the day of service therefore deduction of 1 star for service. Jonathan is excellent.
Jonathan was on time and explained everything he did to us, he was a pleasure to deal with
Ambient Edge contacted me quickly and repaired my old Heat pump for a fair price. Jonathan was very professional.

Arrived on site. Checked in with customer. Explained after hours charges and got approval for any repairs. Gained access to roof and found unit off. Powered unit on and found dead CFM. Checked CFM capacitor and it was good. Bad CFM. Replaced CFM and added appropriate capacitor for that motor. Verified operations.
Upon inspection found unit is low on refrigerant charge. System has no service ports and can not add charge. Will need to cut lines bleed remaining refrigerant and install service ports. After port install will need to pressurize system with nitrogen to find leak. Due to expense of doing a leak search and adding service ports advised home owner it would be better at replacing the reach in.
Replace package heat pump on roof with crane remove evap cooler and cap connect to existing ductwork and electrical
Arrived on site gave the customer an estimate for disposal. Customer said that $150 was a lot for her to buy the disposal she was expecting under $100
Presented customer with a few options for replacement. Will follow up in a couple days.
Arrived on site, gave customer estimates for hydro edge and softener. Customer said they didn’t go with the AC estimate so there was no financing set up. Customer stated they just wanted an idea on price. Customer said he will talk to wife no specific objections
Upon inspection found indoor blower motor not running due to a loose connection at incoming power splice. Secured connection tightly and tested operations. Everything is working well at this time. Found contactor is starting to burn and points are wearing down. Also found condenser fan motor is leaking oil.
Performed cooling inspection on package air conditioner system. Could not find any issues with system at this time. Checked motor amperages, capacitor ratings, and refrigerant pressures. Everything is working at this time. Spoke to home owner about a VIP membership.
Arrived on site and checked in with customer. Located walk in unit equipment. Visually inspected equipment. Coils dirty, all components functioning, site glass flashing and no signs of leaks or damage. Checked start and run capacitors. Compressor cap 0/30. Fan cap 4.4/5. Compressor start cap within specifications. Replaced run capacitor on compressor and CFM. Contactor in good condition. Cleaned coils (both condenser and evaporator). Checked / cleared drain. Hooked up gauges and monitored system vitals. Had hoped site glass would clear up after removing air flow obstruction of dust and lint, but unit is low on charge. Unit runs 507A and we don’t carry it. Will quote out leak search and refrigerant.
Upon inspection found capacitor for condenser fan motor and compressor blew out. Gave estimate to replace capacitor. Estimate approved. Replaced capacitor and tested system operations. Everything is working at this time. System has a good temperature split but pressures seem off. May be off due to high heat in the home. Will need to let system run and cool home down.
