Arrived on site and found rtu 1 not running. Tested pressure switches to find both closed with call for cooling. Found contactor switch to have call for cooling as well. Only found line power in but not going through to other side. Removed cover to find internals completely burnt and falling apart. Replaced contactor on site and tested operations. System back to cooling with no other issues found at this point in time. All work is complete.

Technician found system 1 has failed compressor with open windings due to start component relay staying open and melting. Will need to replace kickstart capacitor. Recover remaining refrigerant from system. Cut out compressor and filter drier. Braze in new compressor and filter drier. Pressure test and pull a deep vacuum. Charge to spec with 10 pounds 427a adding ac renew for oil return. Test operations. Expedite/urgency fees applied. Arrived on site and checked in with staff. Went to roof and removed failed start components replacing with truck stock KS1. Recovered refrigerant. Found black oil in gauge set. Removed compressor attached with rotolock fittings to find oil charge burnt and contaminated due to electrical failure. Performed flush through system removing as much contamination and oil as possible then flowed nitrogen through system for a final sweep. Awaited delivery of new compressor via emergency delivery. Compressor arrived and is not a direct match. System on roof using

Arrived on site and checked in with staff. Found building at 98 degrees in store. Went to roof and found only front system #1 moving any air. Found start capacitor melted and relay stuck open. All three windings of compressor open. Compressor and start components will need to be replaced. Moved to system 2 found void of refrigerant on last two maintenances. System currently found severely overcharged on roof with leaking evaporator coil. Recovered 4 pounds of refrigerant and was able to keep pressures low enough to run. Also found all safety switches bypassed on this system. Unsure of who had charged and bypassed wiring in this system. This is not the work of Ambient Edge. System would not cool with pressures running very high on liquid side and very low on suction side indicating severe restriction in liquid line of system. This is highly likely due to severe contamination of the refrigerant oil in the system due to sitting with air in lines for nearly a year. Site currently has no co

Arrived to troubleshoot 3 issues. Female bathroom sink has very little water coming from the faucet. 2 toilets making loud noise at times. Then no hot water in either bathroom. Cleaned out aerators in both sinks, solved left sink issue and cold side right sink issue. Possible stop and supply issue. Toilets all functioning appropriately at this time. Power flush, possibly had air in the system. Hot water works in all sinks but takes time to get hot. Recommend tankless flush, or possibly replacement of 10 year old tankless.

Arrived on site. Went inside store and let staff know on site for quarterly filter change. Set up extension ladder on front of building for roof access. Removed power from both RTUs and changed filters. Noticed RTU2 not running on arrival due to being down since previous visit. Found system void of refrigerant and off on low pressure safety due to leaking evaporator coil. Will resubmit all pending repair quotes. Added dates to all new filters with before and after pictures.

Arrived and was asked to connect ac in attic. Inspection found customer only has furnace in attic from 2004. Inspected furnace per customer request to find inducer draft motor overamping. Will provide quote to correct. Customer also would like ductwork connected for swamp cooler. Will have install department reach out for quote. Customer would like swamp cooler tied into ducting for upstairs using existing furnace using slide damper. Also interesting in adding a mini split to downstairs area. Large garage next to home has swamp cooler that they would like install to handle as well. All work is complete.

Arrived on site and checked in with MOD. Performed full cooling maintenance with filter change on both Rooftop package units and all walk in equipment with two condensers and six evaporators. Cleaned all condenser coils, recorded pressures, amps draws, electrical inspection, and tested all motors. Found package unit 2 on roof nearly void of refrigerant and off on low pressure safety. Located several leaks on evaporator coil U bends. Will quote to replace evaporator coil and recharge with refrigerant. System will remain down until repairs can be made. Found both condensers for walk in equipment to have issues. Beer side equipment has frozen lines due to being low on refrigerant. Located leak on liquid line service valve. Found Teflon tape on threads from previous work performed by different company. This will not work for refrigerant and is not a correct fix by any means. Compressor also has audible rattle noise while running indicating internal damage from operating this way for extend

Performed exhaust hood inspection on roof. Found all units to be installed correctly without any issues. Correct gauge wire to be run, in conduit, power disconnects readily available, and all secured down to roof with watertight seal. Found shower exhaust to be seized with damaged blade bent backwards. Motor will need to replaced and blade to restore operation. Bathroom exhaust fan also down found seized and temping over 200 degrees. Will need to have motor replaced to restore operation. Found exhaust hoods to have excess debris on air exhaust screen causing units to not move as much air. Ductwork under systems also loaded with debris and lint causing excess pressure on motors. Dirty ductwork likely cause of motor failure and excess pressure. This will cause motors to strain and excess vibration. Not a install issue.
