I’m new to the Florida Central West Coast. We’ve all heard the stories about having a HVAC tune up and afterwards having our checkbooks tuned up, and then being the subject of a special “news report” on how we were ripped off. Matthew the service tech with Bay Area AC was the exact opposite! Matt was professional, knowledgeable, on time, and all round good guy. Matt, diagnosed my system, answered my questions, replaced a faulty part, my checkbook is still intact, and I won’t be on TV. This organization was awesome from the first call to the service. Great rates, no hidden fees, I Lucked Out!
This was my first experience with Bay Area AC. Matthew was early arriving for our service call. Excellent! Within 10 minutes Matthew had diagnosed and repaired our AC problem. Excellent!! Two thumbs up. My family is very pleased and comfortable. Thank you Matthew and Bay Area AC for quick, excellent service.
Garage mini-split not blowing cold air, connection needed attention, don diagnosis it and repaired it in a small amount of time!!👍👍
Only trouble I have is the fact my unit is still not working properly! Has nothing to do with Bay Area but with an unit installed by a contractor no longer in existance! Comes under the heading of Lemon Law (lol) just don't what to do to get it fixed - 3 techs in less that a week and a half! On a fixed income so doesn't help, can only do so much at this point!
Bay came the same day we called, gave us a contract to sign for a new system without asking for any money, and will be here next week to install the unit. Matthew was great. Can't get any better than this.

Systems thermostat not bringing on reversing valve in Cooling replace that system running normally at present time also suggest and left estimates on new equipment sent to owner
added 4 lbs r410a to system could not see leak on copper in package unit . Told customer that if leaks out it in a coil. Quoted new system.
Check up complete, instruct customer on thermostat could not get thermostat 2 make constant beeping but didn't find that the beeping could have been caused by float switch condensate drain was slightly clogged causing it to drain slow causing thermostat to come on off, clean drain system operating normally at this time
Condenser motor not starting with call for cooling. Have to start motor with screwdriver with a spin. Fan amp draw is okay rated at 1.8 amps pulling 1.6. Dual run capacitor for fan site is 10 microfarad reading 10 microfarads. Can hear bearings making noise in condenser fan and fan motor is very warm to the touch. Verified part warranty ordered part office will call to schedule to install part

Maintenance completed, check and inspect air filters, client has a (IQair perfect 16 ) that has 4 mefia filter (2 inches each filter)according to the client they werw changed last year, unit has a u.v bulb that was replaced a year ago as well, drain line was clogg upon arrival, drain and flush condensation line and add drain pan treatment, cleaned conderser coil and evap coil, check electrical components and refrigerant pressure, all systems vital are good at this time

Trap went dry causing float switch trip. Filled drain with water. System draining properly.

Out of warranty, new owners. Need to replace blower motor. Going with an Evergreen motor and module. Installed new module and tested . System now working properly. Ran complete system tune up and cleaned coils and blower wheel . Checked charges and electric. System working within factory specifications.
