Excellent service from initial meeting through installation . Everyone did exactly what they said they would do—Superior product, clear explanation of options, professional installers.
Following installation of my new heat pump, a bad thermostat wire prevented the unit from switching from heat to cooling. I called late afternoon on Friday Dec 31, Bay Area had a tech out here in less then an hour. He found the problem, made a temporary fix. Early Monday morning 2 techs were here to make a permanent fix. Just to clarify the bad wire was existing wire and not related the new equipment or installation.
From installation to maintenance, Bay Area is a top notch company. Great employees in office and the Nate certified service guys. Extremely satisfied with my decision to go with Bay Area for HVAC system!

Customer had some concern of accumulated run time on the ECOBEE stat At 60°db & 54°wb OD & 70° IDT the system operating pressures were within parameters, especially if indoor temps are kept stable down to35° to 40° ODT Normal operations.
Customer reported condenser breaker tripping after about 15 minutes of run time. Checked both inverter and compressor windings and found no issues. Checked all 230 voltage connections between condenser and breaker and found connections at 50 amp circuit breaker both very loose and barely making connection. This can cause a breaker to trip. Tightened all 230 volt connections and tested heatpump for 17 minutes. System ran with no issues.
