We have a weekend home and I went over Today to check everything out and found the air conditioning not working. I called Bay Area Air Conditioning and they were there within the hour. Did the diagnostics and found the problem quickly. Parts had to be ordered but I was called this afternoon to approve the parts purchase and quoted the price for parts and labor. Our technician Mike was professional, knowledgeable and explained everything with patience. I highly recommend this company!

Customer complaint of no heat. Found indoor blower motor running but no electric heat. Electric heat kit relays not energizing with call for heat. Replace with 2 pole contactor in place of small cat relays that energized heat kit. Unit is operating normally at this time. Unit under 10-year part warranty. Don't forget diagnosis in labor
FLUSHED DRAIN LINE. UNIT WAS SET TO 90 DEGREES HEAT. HOUSE HAS BEED DESTROYED BY PREVIOUS RENTERS. ADVISED WE WILL CHECK UNIT 8 AM CALL. WHEN HOME CLEANED UP.
Found bad Transformer and fan control board homeowner thinks she may have a parts warranty
Found condensate drain line clogged. Also found magnetic auxiliary line float switch which was full of water had failed and cause condensation to overflow in condensate pan onto hardwood flooring. Clean drain line and coil pan. Added drain treatment and Dawn. Verified with electronic meter buy a continuity test that float switch had failed. Replaced float switch with mechanical float switch. And wired switch to break hot wire from Transformer instead of just the thermostat. Instructed homeowner on how to clean drain line if needed.
FOUND AIR HANDLER IN ATTIC AUX PAN FULL OFVWATER. ALSO INLINE FLOAT SWITCH FAILED. REPLACED INLINE SWITCH. AUX PAN SWITCH IS WORKING. CLEANED LINE AND PAN. ADDED DRAIN TREATMENT. ADVISED OWNER IF WATER ISSUES CONTINUE. POSSIBLE DRAIN PAN CRACKED.
FOUND SYSTEM LOW ON CHARGE. USED LEAK DETECTOR ON BOTH HEADS. FOUND TWO LOOSE FLARE NUTS ON OUTDOOR UNIT. TIGHTENED NUTS. RECHARGED WITH R410. UNIT COOLING NORMALLY AT THIS TIME.
Customer called due to condenser fan motor not operating. Found condenser fan motor not operating due to bad 70/5 dual capacitor replaced capacitor fan motor started right up. Checked system operations in cooling all ok system operating and draining correctly at this time.
RESET HONEYWELL T8 STAT. SYSTEM IS OPERATING NORMALLY AT THIS TIME.
